The Daily Kos is scoring a lot of political points against Free Republic with the race and children cards. It was not our finest hour. But just how saintly and pure of thought are the Kossacks?
Here’s the original Kos diary from Thursday that got the ball rolling against FR.
The Kos diarist who posted the piece, Halfrican, closed his report on the FR thread with this wish for Freepers and their children:
I hope all these Freepers have children that grow up to either marry black people or f*** them in high school. (asterisks added.)
But we're the racists, right? I wonder if David Shuster and Jake Tapper know about this at their Twitter pages. Perhaps a Twittering Freeper can alert them.
Since you’re in DC, you might want to check out Major Garrett’s twitter....he references the Vancouver FR article in his tweets, calling us grotesque and unrepetant.

I imagine it won’t be very much longer before the sensitive, caring and tolerant Kos Kiddies start referring to Freepers as being a bunch of closet homosexuals. I just don’t understand how the libs are always allowed to get away with that stuff with no backlash what so ever from the homosexual groups.
Who cares what they think. These are the people who don’t ever work, they protest and carry on like the school girls that they are. I never ran into one of them in the Marines, on a construction site or any where there is work to be done. They are always absent for some reason.

Well to them we are comparable to Stormfront despite the fundamental difference between the two sites because to the Kos folks anyone perceived as being just a bit conservative is lumped in with racists.
Aside from whatever impropriety such a statement embodies, it’s mostly just childish and stupid.
There's a good possibility that many freepers did one of these things at least once, and a larger possibility our children will. So, what exactly is it that is being wished? That we continue to be normal?

Yeah. I am more a Teddy Roosevelt type progressive on economic stuff, than most conservatives, and I have been around FR like more than 10 years. Worst that has happened to me is that I get called a stupid, libtard troll sometimes.
