Forced abortions. Mass sterilization. A "Planetary Regime" with the power of life and death over American citizens.
The tyrannical fantasies of a madman? Or merely the opinions of the person now in control of science policy in the United States? Or both?
These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology -- informally known as the United States' Science Czar. In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:
Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not; The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation's drinking water or in food; Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise; People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" -- in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized. A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives -- using an armed international police force.
Impossible, you say? That must be an exaggeration or a hoax. No one in their right mind would say such things.
Well, I hate to break the news to you, but it is no hoax, no exaggeration. John Holdren really did say those things, and this report contains the proof. Below you will find photographs, scans, and transcriptions

The Bible tells us in the last days ‘strong delusion’ will blind those who refuse to see the wicked one. BArry Soetoro is wicked, question is, is he The wicked one? We shall see.
Excellent post, Phil!
This government is getting scarier by the day.
That was something I didn’t think possible on Nov. 4, 2008.
Are you planning on posting that every ten minutes or so?
Does this guy have children?
If Holdren so deeply believes these things, I suggest he might voluntarily cease the emission of any Carbon Dioxide to promote his cause.
Population levels have nothing to do with liberty and freedom. I don’t think Soviet Siberia was exactly a haven for liberty and peace, although relatively unpopulated. Western Europe and the east and west coasts of the US are much more densely populated, yet have much more freedom than Soviet Union did (even though yes, they have more controls than previously, see below). Tyranny can come about in low population areas (parts of Africa) or high density areas (Viet Cong). I doubt if North Korea has an overpopulation problem.
Tyranny comes not because of population levels, but because people lose the inner self discipline and motivation to control themselves, and then tyrants use the resulting crime, deceit, corruption, etc. and take advantage of that for their own evil purposes. Usually the loss of self discipline and ability for self government comes as a result of losing their inner moral compass brought about by beginning to worship self rather than God. When people don’t voluntarily govern themselves, more and more laws and regulations are made to control them externally, and tyrants use that as an excuse to put into place the regulations they desire for their own benefit, and the benefit of their cronies. Then they start taxing some and giving the benefits to other groups, and so it all keeps expanding.
I would say California and New York have lost their freedoms precisely becuase they have lost their moral compass, not because of population density.
The following link is a well researched revelation about John Holdren, the current "Science Czar" of the Obama administration. In 1977 he co-authored a book that advocated forced abortions, mass sterilization, and the surrender of US sovereignty to a "Planetary Regime," among other frightening recommendations. The link includes scans of the book in question and is quite detailed.

In the 1970's there was a scare about overpopulation. That scare seems silly now. But what if government had acted upon the scare and taken John Holdren's advice? You might not be alive.
What happens today if government acts recklessly upon today's scares in the "scientific" disciplines? If John Holdren was foolish enough to believe the overpopulation theories, what other fallacious theories might he believe? In Obama's administration, John Holdren is now the top science official in the country.
Would you have nominated or approved John Holdren, knowing that he has such blatant disregard for individual rights vis-a-vis the government? Obama nominated him and the democrat-controlled congress approved him.
Does all of this bother you? I think it should, to say the least.
Yes, alarm bells! My kids private school is asking for another vaccine, they’ve (govt requirements) have grown way beyond the standard old polio, measles etc. Seems every year there’s a new vaccine required. I want to refuse this new vaccine but don’t know how to go about it. I don’t think I can say on religious grounds becuase it really isn’t, I just don’t think it’s safe. Please freepmail if anyone knows how to do this, if this is getting too off topic.
Re: “Obama nominated him and the democrat-controlled congress approved him.”
CMIIAW, I don’t think czars are approved by congress.
Wasn’t referring to Japan. They have a good standard of living. America has no danger of being overpopulated. We have much more land area than Japan.
Our biggest worry should be fascist-type kings circumventing the Constitution. IE GWB, and BHO.
I thought that too. But the linked article mentions his "Senate confirmation hearing."
No I had computer problems. It’s the first time I’ve posted twice. Didn’t think it went through first time.

Time to thin the herd of 'em.
Whoops. Sorry Fred Nerks. Here’s the Enemies List link:

OMG! I feel like we’re entering into the Twilight Zone!!
This is insanity, to say the least. I can’t understand how this s.o.b zero can keep getting away with these czar appointees. He is making himself an imperialist potus by not having to confirm with the house or senate on appointing these morons that only answer to him.
This article is the scariest yet! The deathcare was bad enough, and now this?
I think it is time for some drastic measures!!!!!!!
I just wonder who it will be that they target for sterilization...and will their be a dominating ethnicity afterwards?

My thoughts exactly!
Ping!
“Although I must admit that 307 million (US population 2009) is way too much for the US.”

What baffles me, is why that piece of scum Holdren wouldn’t consider the approach of shutting our borders, and getting all illegals out. And then for the next 10 years or so, stop all new immigration into the country. That should take down the numbers quite a bit...
