John Holdren, Obama's Science Czar: Forced abortions and mass sterilization needed to save planet
http://zombietime.com/john_holdren/ ^ | 7/10/2009

Forced abortions. Mass sterilization. A "Planetary Regime" with the power of life and death over American citizens.

The tyrannical fantasies of a madman? Or merely the opinions of the person now in control of science policy in the United States? Or both?

These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology -- informally known as the United States' Science Czar. In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:

• Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not; • The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation's drinking water or in food; • Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise; • People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" -- in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized. • A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives -- using an armed international police force.

Impossible, you say? That must be an exaggeration or a hoax. No one in their right mind would say such things.

Well, I hate to break the news to you, but it is no hoax, no exaggeration. John Holdren really did say those things, and this report contains the proof. Below you will find photographs, scans, and transcriptions

It is not just this executive administration czarist rule. If the nation of voters do not awaken to the insidious and vulgar socialist mindset of the Reid-Pelosi-Boxer-Dorgin-MArky-Waxman-Leahy types, we are doomed anyway! The democrat run Congress knew of Barry Soetoro’s ineligibility from a Constitutional stand, yet they have done everything they can to cover for him and aid him in his dismantling of this Republic. It is the democrat controlled Congress and leftist dominated subpreme court which are systematically canceling the Constitutional Contract and instituting a serfdom to dem controlled federal oligarchic control.

Ah, a product of Bezerkley thinking. That explains a lot. And I wonder, was this devil at Barry’s little speech when he referred to the ‘clingers’? I’ll bet he was. We are seeing in drips and drops what is slushing around in the wicked mind of Barack Obama, affirmative action figure liar-in-chief.

What about Clean Water?

Clean water is the least of the problems this world has. The oceans are full of it and if the leaders of countries bordering the ocean would simply build nuke desalinization plants, no one would ever have to worry about water. Nor is food a problem. When I was a teen in he 1950s, we were told the world would run out of food about 1980. We didn't. We simply grew more. One reason food prices are so high, including fish, is government regulation. Production is down due to government regulation, now and pending. CA is going to shut off water to farmers this summer so that a smelt can live, yep a smelt, humans can die but smelt should live.

Our problem isn't excess population in this country and the world, it is excess government.

That is the only problem I have with excess population, it makes it more difficult to keep government in check.

If nothing else, this man’s appointment to a national position of power points to the flaws of the individual who appointed him.

The same was said about the company he keeps (terrorists, anti-Americans, etc).....

.....but the people didn't care.

It's sick to see how apathetic people can vote for a person with no regard to the clue of his character. Clinton was the first test, now Obama. The USA will be markedly different (socialist) by the time Obama's first term is out. This man is moving fast, rules be dammed.

"...and leftist dominated subpreme court"

With the likely appointment of the less-than-prime candidate, Sotomayor, we are continuing the awful judicial policy quite analogous to the financial one that brought us the current economic mess.

The United States Subprime Court will similarly create an injustice bubble.

Neither would I. Frankly they need it and the Middle Class needs a chance to have more kids without having to support a load of illegitimate spud who will grow up without a chance.

“as a Christian I really shouldn’t have said it,”

Christianity isn’t about ignoring unpleasant realities or holding back when someone needs to put a stop to something.

Of course not. They think, that if Islam were to take over, that the rules would not apply to them. Their ‘noble savage’ view of them is what is getting us killed and preventing us from winning this war.

"Our problem isn't excess population in this country and the world, it is excess government."

Agreed.

The other problem is that, even amongst some Freepers, science has been given veto power over the will of the people.

The argument your son made is just so OBVIOUS. I mean, each time a lib says something that idiotic, why do they think it never applies to them? It’s like Hannity pointed out on his show last night: Dems are very generous - with OTHER people’s $$!!

If you wanted to reduce the world’s population, wouldn’t it be simpler to just nuke China?

No, but I do recognize that wishing death on someone else isn’t Christ-like. I just get sooooo unbelievably fed up with their nonsense...Why do they think it never ever applies to them? They’re generous - as long as they aren’t spending their own $$. They have ideas which look good on the SURFACE (everyone should get healthcare, planet should be less polluted,etc...) - until one realizes the means to get there that they are advocating. But - WAIT - it never applies to THEM!! They exempt themselves and their loved ones: everyone ELSE should be forced into cattle-herd healthcare, everyone ELSE should kill themselves to save the planet. The hypocrisy and stupidity are beyond belief!!

Obama appoints a TOTAL NUTJOB as US Science Czar. Why does this not surprise me? From the article,

Of course, Holdren wrote these things in the framework of a book he co-authored about what he imagined at the time (late 1970s) was an apocalyptic crisis facing mankind: overpopulation. He felt extreme measures would be required to combat an extreme problem. Whether or not you think this provides him a valid "excuse" for having descended into a totalitarian fantasy is up to you: personally, I don't think it's a valid excuse at all, since the crisis he was in a panic over was mostly in his imagination.

So the excuse is that Holden and the authors of this book only suggest "possibilities" to control over population IF it ever becomses a problem. But who in their right mind would ever imagine such draconian measures on individual freedoms? A nutjob.

His appointment is a reflection of the soulessness of Obama.
