“as a Christian I really shouldn’t have said it,”

Christianity isn’t about ignoring unpleasant realities or holding back when someone needs to put a stop to something.

No, but I do recognize that wishing death on someone else isn’t Christ-like. I just get sooooo unbelievably fed up with their nonsense...Why do they think it never ever applies to them? They’re generous - as long as they aren’t spending their own $$. They have ideas which look good on the SURFACE (everyone should get healthcare, planet should be less polluted,etc...) - until one realizes the means to get there that they are advocating. But - WAIT - it never applies to THEM!! They exempt themselves and their loved ones: everyone ELSE should be forced into cattle-herd healthcare, everyone ELSE should kill themselves to save the planet. The hypocrisy and stupidity are beyond belief!!
