Because there is such a gigantic societal bias against those who criticize Obama, he must be attacked from all angles and it must be constant.
Of course he is destroying America. Of course he hates America. But not enough people are going to believe it fast enough, outright.
The majority of Americans still like him personally and forgive his sins or dismiss them because of that. We have to grease the wheels, build a case that this isn't a friendly, cuddly human being.
Then you can lay a case for sedition in the court of public opinion.
