LADERA RANCH – A 45-year-old woman who was stabbed and robbed inside a gated community on the Fourth of July is believed to have been targeted by two men because of her ethnicity, authorities said.
The two men stabbed the woman on her forearm, held her against her will and ripped her shirt open while yelling racial epithets at her, authorities said. The woman, a Latina who works as a custodian for the Ladera Ranch Maintenance Corp., was emptying trash outside the community’s clubhouse when she was attacked.
“They told me I wasn’t worth anything,” said Maria Guadarrama. “They said they didn’t like me and they didn’t like Mexicans.” The men told her that Mexicans didn’t belong here and they were going to do what they could to get them out as they pushed and pulled her, said Guadarrama, who said she’s worked as a custodian for the association for about a year.
The two men surrounded Guadarrama, and one of them held her neck with his arm from behind, she said.
While holding her neck, the man rubbed himself against her. Guadarrama said she hit him with her elbow, then reached behind her and scratched him on the neck and shoulder.
“I tried to defend myself,” she said.
The man let her go after she scratched him, but grabbed on to her again by her shirt collar, Amormino said. The man ripped open her shirt, exposing her bra.

1. This is an upscale gated community where one must enter a guarded gate to get in.
2. It supposedly happened on July 4th at 10:20 am just outside the clubhouse where the pool was full of kids and most people were off work and at home.
3. No one has come forward to say they saw anyone of the description given.
4. Her description is way too detailed. She claims it happened so fast, but she is able to tell the eye color and what tattoos the guys had. She knew the color of the shorts one guy had on. (Liars make lists.)
5. She claims not to speak English but she understood everything the guys supposedly yelled at her. (She claims they were yelling and she was screaming, but no one heard a thing although the clubhouse and pool was crowded for the holiday)
6. She claimed to have cashed her check that morning to pay her rent that night. That day was July 4th (Saturday) Where did she cash a check? Why was she paying rent on the 4th in cash?
7. She claims the men tried to slice her face and she held the attack off with her arm, but the wounds appear to be merely scrape marks and not knife wounds.
8. She smiles and laughs through the entire press conference.
9. Many in the community are now stepping up and donating money to her, even before the investigation is complete.
10. Why would 2 skinhead types enter a guard gated community where they stick out like a sore thumb and wait for a janitor to come by so they can rob her? If you were to rob someone why do it in full morning in front of the clubhouse and target a janitor?
11. Why isn't there a police sketch or a report from the guards at the gate? Why hasn't anyone come forward saying they saw 2 guys that fit the description?
The media is running with this story like wild fire. To me, it is plain as can be that this woman is lying and there is much much more to this story.
Right now the newspaper (Orange County Register) has the community of Ladera Ranch so whipped up into a frenzy that I'm afraid that the first innocent young kid that walks by that happens to have an "emo" look or a tattoo on his shoulder is going to be beaten by an angry mob.
This type of "RACE BAITING" reporting has to stop now!
If it is proven this woman has lied and made a false police report then she should be arrested and charge!

The wounds on her forearms should be fairly easily distinguished, between self-inflicted and defensive. That will tell the tale.

I asked about her carrying a person because article says she was robbed while throwing out trash. Robbed of what? Her trash?
No, she had $800 in her pocket. She claims she cashed her paycheck that morning and was going to pay her rent that evening.
That’s why this story is fishy. 1) Who cashes checks on a Saturday and a holiday? (It was 4th of July)
She said she cashed it before coming to work.
The incident supposedly happened at 10:20. So what time did she cash the check? Even if a bank was open, they don’t open that early.
2) Why was she paying her rent on the 4th? Isn’t rent due on the 1st? She was awfully late!
3) Why was she paying her rent in cash? I don’t know of any management that takes cash.
So, to answer your question again....she had $800 in her pocket because she cashed her cash that morning so she could pay her rent. (Supposedly)
That brings up another thing to ponder. If two skinheads were going to rob someone what are the chances that they would just happen upon a janitor on the exact day that she just happens to have $800 in cash in her pocket???

Ever since the white firefighters won for the very same reason others complain and scream about; all of the sudden stories of this nature start popping up. We have one in Houston about the firefighters here. I don’t know whether it is true or not. It’s horrible if it is and I was buying up until they showed a retired black woman saying the department was made up of mostly white men.
