Apparently Sarah Palin's decision to quit her post as Governor of Alaska wasn't as misguided as it sounded at first, because it has certainly already begun to work it's magic on winning over the Republican party. According to a new USA Today/Gallup Poll, her popularity has surged amongst Republicans since she made the announcement.
71 percent of Republicans said they would vote for Palin if she ran for president in 2012, and three-fourths believe that Palin has been treated unfairly by the media.
Two-thirds of Republicans want Palin to be "a major national political figure" in the future, while three-fourths of Democrats are hoping that she won't be. Independents by 55%-34% would prefer she leave the national stage.
0bama’s fan-servants say his made out of Teflon. Fine. But, as we all know, Teflon is made with Cancer causing chemicals.
Sarah is made of Thermolon! Slicker than Teflon, and not Cancerous to our Country!
Obama has the left wing media to prop him up and cover up his gaffes. Quite the opposite for Palin, or any other conservative. Hussein Obama has a huge advantage that we cant do anything about.
MSM reports of her political demise were...premature, to say the least.
Is she reduced to wearing burlap?
Hell, he was on Fox trashing her BEFORE the announcement was made and it was just a rumor. He couldn’t even explain why. It was a sickening display of look-down-your-nose elitism. I’ve never looked at Krauthammer the same since.
Exactly!
Gosh...this poll goes completely contrary to what all those talking heads and political “experts” were saying this weekend.
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Elitists are in both parties.
Granted, they are in the ‘rat party to a much higher degree,
but there are some ‘pubs that are elitists as well.
...she just does not have the political savvy or a wit that is quick enough to sustain her on the national or global stage
Obama DOES??????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
— Apparently you have not been paying attention.
If many think like you, no wonder we’re in such trouble!
Failed government schools have wiped out conservative politics.
Yeah, the numbers are flying off the charts. I’m pretty active on bother her Twitter and Facebook pages, and she has brought in some 40,000 new supporters since Friday.
Are you suggesting we “quit”? LOL
The libs have hammered her with everything but the kitchen sink and now you and the liberal GOP are trying the same. Good luck with that! LOL. She’s getter more attention by the minute!
These snobs inside the beltway seem to think that they are the Republican party. They're not.
Sarah is one good American. One REALLY good American, and I hope we all do everything we are able to fight the media that wants to bury her anyway they can...including hurting her by hurting her children. Liberals come from scum and cannot help the things they do...Saul Alinsky, in their view, justifys 'any means to an end'. Something EVERY liberal believes is just fine. Liberals missed out on love somewhere along the line and it shows.
Thanks, Ross!
I sure hope Sarah has some good protection around her. I think she needs it. Todd’s a good man and would certainly defend her to the death as many of us would, but I don’t think he’s going to be enough.
Two-thirds of Republicans want Palin to be "a major national political figure" in the future,
33% of Republicans are liberal RINOs who would never vote for any conservative.
while three-fourths of Democrats are hoping that she won't be.
25% of Democrats are not hard-core communists, not much to work with there but we can get that 25% after Obama's stunning performance.
Independents by 55%-34% would prefer she leave the national stage.
55% of Independents are solid Democrat voters.
Somewhere in a cold, dark, White House room Emanuel is peeing his pants. Meanwhile, in a state to the north and on the ocean, Mitt Romney is crying like a girl.
Couple of thoughts for the day on beautiful bright AK morn:"You have to sacrifice to win. That's my philosophy in 6 words."- George Allen.
Today, try this: "Act in accordance to your conscience -risk- by pursuing larger vision in opposition to popular, powerful pressure"-unknown
