Speaking about the recent coup in Honduras, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said President Manuel Zelaya clearly was in violation of his countrys constitution. McCain made his comments on Twitter this afternoon:
Violence and unrest in Honduras & China - we need to continue to stand up for human rights and democracy around the world!
I regret the military takeover in Honduras, but its clear President Zelaya was in violation of his countrys constitution.

Stopped clock strikes 13...
The following is directed to Freepers who haven't donated or signed up for monthlies yet...

is good. 100% is better. You know you're going to do it. Pull the trigger! You don't have to pay it all now. $5 now, $25 next week, $10 later... keep the ball rolling.
Monthly donorship is a good way for us to avoid having to do the Freepathons. Besides, it's a great way to pony up in style.
If you're on the verge of becoming a monthly donor or you think you would like to up your monthly donation a bit, has Jim got a deal for you.
Check this out. There's an added incentive for a limited time only. (Always wanted to type that...)
Thanks to Freepers who have been frequenting the Freepathon thread to ham it up with folks over there. It helps to raise the visibility of the Freepathon.
Jump into the Monthly Donorship special thread too. There are horderves, hot women with short skirts, and beer too. Alert, the pizza just showed up! It's a partaaaee...
Ladies, there were 15 lifeguards over there a few minutes ago. (I'm beginning to feel a bit guilty... heh heh heh...)

Like closing Gitmo? Yeah, he’s a real asset. He’s got his problems there too unfortunately. Nobody is going to be as bad as Obama, but remember this clown has been voicing accolades for Obama way too often.

I regret the military takeover in Honduras....Here is the problem with McCain. He's on the right side of the issue but he doesn't bother to understand the facts. There has been no military takeover in Honduras and it is damaging for him to have said this.
DeMint was both eloquent and accurate speaking on the issue today in the Senate.

Screw McNuts. He calls it a “military takeover.” What courage to speak out on Twitter.

Well how convenient. Honduras agrees to “talks” and RINOs suddenly find it safe to oppose Obama.

Didn’t go far enough. The statement should have made it very clear, that foreign intervention in Honduras’ internal affairs would be met with a stern response, perhaps even military.
It should have also put the OAS on notice, that it’s actions were incredibly inappropriate.
The OAS has no business screwing with a state whose President has gone south on their Constitution.
That’s patently ridiculous.

Seems to me that Honduras has agreed to talks as a means of running out the clock on Zelaya’s original term. The RINOs see this happening and suddenly find the stones to oppose Zero.

I agree. We could scoop up ‘Joe Anyman’ off the street and have a better than 50/50 change that they’d have a better grasp of international relations than Obambi.

Even so, any support Honduras can get, however specious, whatever the motives, is welcomed right now.
