AP Lauds Michelle Obama's 'Superstar Glamor'; Mocks Russian First Lady

The way the Associated Press is fawning over Michelle Obama and her supposed sense of fashion, you would almost think they were talking about Carla Bruni who really does dress quite elegantly and oozes glamor. To add to this absurdity, the AP also went out of its way to paint the Russian First Lady as frumpy. Um, advice to AP personnel; don't expect the Russians to go out of their way to help you in your stories in that country after that gratuitous slam on the wife of their president. First let us watch the AP's Catrina Stewart act dazzled over the "superstar glamor" of Michelle Obama:

MOSCOW (AP) - Michelle Obama brings her superstar glamor to Moscow this weekend as she accompanies her husband on his summit with the Russian president.

But the American first lady, who has wowed publics in the U.S. and Europe with her easy elegance and charm, will perhaps face a bigger challenge in winning over a Russian public that has scant respect for women who grab the limelight from their powerful husbands.

I was at the mall where there is J Crewe store—outlet store. I USED TO LIKE J CREWE. But now, I would not want to be seen in their apparel. Esp. since they just did some sort of press release on Crewe and the Obama girls :(

She is butt ass ugly!!! I have yet to see her in any outfit that shows even the slightest bit of grace, elegance or style. I wish someone would take her to Wal Mart or Target and pick out a half dozen or so, simple, elegant, dresses for her to wear. And then sell the rest of her clothes at a flea market or a garage sale.

Showing any expression of honor or respect for any country, let alone the U.S., is a completely unnatural & insincere form of expression for her. She's more at ease in "da hood" railing against whitey, even though she & her empty headed usurper-in-chief husband, benefited from every affirmative action program there is. I hope some Russian general rips into her at some time on this propoganda trip.

I hate to ever say anything nice about Barack Hussein 0boooooooooomba, but it looks like he is the only one in his household that knows how to dress with any sense of style. MaBelle 0boooooooooomba is a walking advertisement for a flea market, and it looks like she is passing that same sense of no-style onto her daughters.

Superstar glamor? Who the heck are they kidding. Michell is not glamorous they way she is dressed... Russian women have a keen sense of fashion because they tend to think of themselves as playing catch-up. They have a eye for style that, sadly, those who dress the “First First Lady” don’t have. Michell would be best served if she dressed conservatively, like the other first ladies (with the exception of Hillary - who dressed like a Chicago spoiled brat). Parading Michell around in those kooky outfits makes her look foolish, damages her professional image and makes everyone feel like the kid at the curb when the naked emperor drives by...

I don’t think she has anything out-of-the-ordinary in the looks department. I think she has some issues she needs to be aware of- one of which is when not smiling she looks angry. So a style coach should tell her when out in public she needs to be careful with that. Also the belt thing is not flattering to her at all. She is high-waisted and pear shaped and much of her wardrobe is not flattering to that figure type. I don’t think I would care one way or another about what she wore if the press didn’t constantly fall over themselves complimenting her when it just isn’t warranted.
