Independence Hall Tea Party III was quite a success, surprising even to us. At the highest point 2100 people (a tad more than Philadelphia Tea Party II)were present. And people were coming and going through out.
Over a thousand people signed our Tea Party Petitions on Cap and Trade, Health Care and EFCA,and to join Independence Hall Tea Party Association many also signing up for the Mother of all Tea Parties on 9/12. We were not permitted to collect money on Independence Hall territory, but if you were one of the people who signed up for a bus for 9/12, we will have someone contact you, as soon as we can.
Independence Hall Tea Party attendees tell Dallas on Breitbart, "Go Eagles!"
The paper, recently shut down, will reopen August 2nd. The Tea Partiers pleged to support the paper AND 1000 subscriptions were filled at the Tea Party for the Philadelphia Bulletin! : )
The moment his speech is up on YOU TUBE we will promote it everywhere we can think of. Herb Denenberg tells it like it is! : )It was candid, frank and quite funny, even at times hilarious. The best speech I've heard since the GREAT Ronald Reagan!
Why cant the Bulletin print once a month or even once a quarter just to at least have another side?
That would make it a magazine. The biggest problem it had was circulation. You couldn’t buy it unless you were in center city or the northeast. No distribution in NJ either. I guess that’s why they were able to sell it for 25 cents. No union drivers to pay. The web version wasn’t very well done either. The content was terrific. I miss Herb Deneberg’s daily columns. One of talk shows should have him on as a regular.
They are supposed to post three times a week this time. We’ll see! But it will be good to have them back.
Oddly, the weather was almost identical to the weather we had on April 18! We were blessed with two beautiful days!: )
Congratulations and thanks for all of your hard work. You guys did a great job.

Thank you. Don Adams my brother is on Dom Giordano’s show now!
Dom really promoted Independence Hall Tea Party III and tea parties in general. It was a nice, positive segment and it was good of him. : )
Dom is great!
Bump.
Let me know if there is “Tea party IV” or whatever it will be called and hopefully our band can play there again! You all did a GREAT job!
Funny, my kids were there and my oldest daughter said something that struck me. She said “dad, that was a lot of fun. However I could tell people were more fed up and disgusted this Tea party more than they were the last...”
It’s true! There was a lot more “passion” this time than last. I know that most people I talk to feel that no matter what they do (call their congressman, senator, etc) nothing is changing. When people feel their government does not give a crap and are doing whatever they want...that is a bad recipe.
We must keep hoping and praying because this administration does not care what we think. We need to preserve one of the most important attributes of our lives...our FREEDOM! I will NEVER give that up...I refuse to have my children be dictated by an oppressive government!
So I ask that we all stand together, support each other and stand up against opposition. Speak out, even if people think you’re a “nut case”. Do it with kindness and eloquence. Anytime you have a chance to speak with someone discuss it with them...in line at a grocery store, Dmv, at the park, etc....and you will be surprised how many people are against these policies. Tell them to go to certain websites, etc. if we all work together much can be accomplished.
God Bless

Thanks for the ping.
That's a lot of people!!! Hats off to the organizers!
“We should reach out to remaining Hispanics, many of whom are not Mexican, blacks and other minorities.”
Again, how do we do that? Give me a suggestion, a practical one, not ‘we need to reach out’. McCain and Bush tried to pander every way possible. Bush appointed many hispanics..DOJ, nominated Estrada to Scotus, Martinez was head of the RNC.....Didn’t do any good.
How do we ‘reach’ out? The government has given them minority status, and everything else. What do you mean by ‘reach out’?
I worked at the polls all day during the May primary elections. We have several people of minority status in our local Republican chapter. They always have a meal for us afterwards, and this time when we went I was glad to find about 12 African Americans among the 80 gathered there.
We should encourage them to bring family and friends to our meetings for starters, and make other active attempts to recruit them at the party level where we can. The election of Obama is going to make it all the harder I admit. But we and the party should have been far more active about it years ago.
You can keep up with us by joining our regional Tea Party association at www.independencehalltpa.com! : )
