Mitt is perfect.

He is handsome too.

So whatever he did was perfect.

Love him fool!

And he just needs to go away now and take Rudy and Huck and Barbi with him.

I actually supported Mitt Romney in the last election.

When is was down to two candidates. Him or McInsane and Mitt couldn't even beat him.

Plus, Romney is a sellout, a phony, and a wuss who walked on eggshells during his primary campaign against McCain. A complete wuss you were, Romney, no cubes whatsoever. No guts, nothing bold about you at all, no aggressive speeches until the speech you gave the day you were dropping out. You are a puss, and we won’t support you, or the likes of you, anymore.

“I basically agree with this criticism. Romney’s abandonment of Massachusetts during a critical juncture in fights over health care, the budget, and the definition of marriage was the single greatest factor that shifted me from a Romney-sympathetic commentator to a critic.”

Reality check: He signed a healthcare reform bill (albeit misguided), balanced every budget while he was Governor, and was a vocal advocate on the DOM Act - against an over-whelming democratic legislature and MA Supreme Court.

The dude needs to get his facts straight. He obviously doesn’t live in MA.

If Mitt had handed over the reins early, his Lt. Muffy might have had a chance to establish herself—and the state wouldn’t have been lost to Deval. Too bad the occasion arose before Palin had been able to show leadership in the situation!

I don’t believe Romney is what he tries to pass himself off as being. He won’t be getting a vote from me. That’s final.

Persons who serve as Governor are not obligated to serve a second term. If they think they can be of better use somewhere else, they can opt out. I honestly don’t see the shame in that, even for a person I don’t particularly like as a politician.

This comparison is childish. I’m sure it’s well intended, but it really does reflect poorly on the writer.

As if the “Palin wasn’t any worse than Obama” wasn’t bad enough, how many people at FR really think the “Palin isn’t really that much worse than Romney” is a rational argument?

Obama also quit, yet continued to collect a massive taxpayer-funded salary, in addition to his wealth from book deals. Obama missed 84% of Senate votes over two full years running for President. Based on his salary, he wasted $288,000 of taxpayer money based on those absences. Obama blasted Hillary's vote for a resolution declaring Iran's Revolutionary Guard a "terrorist" organization--YET HE HAD SKIPPED THE VOTE to campaign in New Hampshire!

Meanwhile Sarah Palin, who clearly will campaign for herself and others over the next 18 months of her term, will save the Alaskan taxpayers $225,000 for a missing governor, and untold travel expenses, instead giving them a full-time engaged governor (Parnell). How does this make her a "quitter" instead of a "good citizen" and "responsible leader"?

Tell these facts to all the a$$hole "Republican" and "Conservative" pundits you hear that call that her a quitter.

The real question remains.

Had he won the primary (had Huckabee not cut a deal with McCain and Guiliani capitulated) he would have run a much tougher campaign than Mac. Assuming that he had also chosen Palin. A Romney/Palin ticket could have won.

When the market was manipulated last fall, Romney is the only one that knows financials and could have taken the lead with the right reaction.

If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride.

No comparison. They are two very different people. Mitt is interested in himself and Palin is interested in the rights of the people.

"It’s gonna be fun watching you Romney bashers become unglued. Maybe the three years won’t seem so long."

Geesh, don't be in such a hurry to restrict yourself to just having fun watching ... at least Arator made it to September after an election year before he got the zot ...

Romney wasn’t being harassed with fraudulent law suits by the democrats at every turn either. That’s because he was not a threat to the democrats. Sarah IS! Go Sarah.
