I’m madder than an Eskimo with a busted mukluk! Sarah Palin resigned as governor of Alaska on Friday, and I still can’t get over it. I can’t believe her red high heels won’t be clicking across our national stage anymore.
I’ll never see the light flicker off her glasses again, or hear her chirpy voice, or watch her bouncy hair blow in the wind like she was the smart Charlie’s Angel.
So let me get this straight: Sarah Palin resigned but Mark Sanford is staying put, Al Franken is Senator and Jesse Jackson’s still not in jail?
It’s all a mystery to me, but you know women: who can understand what they do, anyhow? Not even THEY know!
Maybe it was just that time of the month, and Sarah will change her mind!
I doubt it, though. When she quit, some turd at the Gas Huffing Post made jokes about her baby. Sarah just got tired of being made fun of, I guess. Although I don’t get why...

I think this was a very smart decision. They can’t keep coming after her with ethics charges and she will become even better known by campaigning for true conservatives. Now, if she starts campaigning for anyone with an R behind their name, she loses me.
It's easy to figure out but men don't listen. At least that's what my wife tells me.

We will be seeing her a lot more actually - IMO - and she will lead - getting those of us who were never involved before rallying behind a conservative movement - she may not run for POTUS but she can effect change by getting us pumped and campaigning for the right individuals which are far away from the establishment on either side of the aisle!
She can do more for the US by not being governor. This also gives her a head start on 2012.

Sarah very clearly stated why she stepped down. She was not going to have her time and money wasted fighting bogus complaints and at the same time keeping the governing of Alaska from moving forward.
Sarah will be doing what she can do very well. That is root out RINOS in the party and let more Americans get to know her and what she is about. Just watch for Sarah in 2012! GO SARAH!

I said “anyone” with an R behind his name. That means people like Charlie Crist.
What I can't figure out is her resignation was part of the integrity she has shown in her career. She has always fought against government waste and with all the ethics complaints that is all she has been doing since the end of the election.
The reason people can't understand it is because most people are not selfless and cannot figure out why she did it. The resignation makes perfect sense to me. If you listen to her basketball analogy I understand very well why she did it. She has goals and with all satin's minions hounding her, she wasn't going to get any of it done. With her out of the way, the goals will be accomplished. So she is getting out of the way for Alaska and letting the state move on and she is moving on. She is sacrificing herself for the cause. I guess if it is to her detriment, then so be it. That is the course she has chosen.

Years ago, we stopped to have a picnic by a small shallow stream. We watched for hours as a female salmon struggled to make her way to a small pool at the base of a beautiful waterfall to lay her eggs. She worked her way up over the rocks, through water that didn't cover her torn body. She did it all to continue her species.....She then laid her eggs and died.
Sarah knows about Salmon and their perserverance, their determination, their fight for life. She'll fight for America, for us, just as the Salmon did.
