Why is she wearing a red dress with a short hemline on a solemn occasion? I don’t know fashion, but I do know appropriate.
Only recall how they used to describe Nancy Reagan, anorexic, emaciated, the fawning eyes as she watches her husband give a speech ... I don't know that I can even remember the last compliment they may have given her. She was always neat, presentable, dressed for the occasion, dignified, stockings, (no matter the weather, a lady always wears hosiery), very tastefully dressed.
There's no objective reason whatever to be lauding the poor clothing choices of the wife of the current president.

You're right - the MSM was at their most hateful when dealing with Nancy Reagan. I can't recall anything they said about her that wasn't hateful.
Just got to your post, Tarheel, this is the very point I was making myself. Trust me, if I were married to a politician, I would need comportment and deportment lessons my own self, it's no shame to admit you need assistance this way. But especially if I happened to be married to a man who thought to run for president, I would never have allowed myself to go through the campaign without having someone instruct me on the proper behaviors, it is a reflection on America, not just on her as a person who lives here, why has this been forgotten? Why isn't there ANYONE of the *old school in Washington* with the guts to take her aside and say, "Michelle, my dear, let me fill you in on a couple of things ..."? Are they all so darned afraid of being called racist for daring to offer some (obviously needed) advice?? Or really, is she just so stubborn and arrogant that whatever may have been tentatively offered was brushed aside immediately?
It puzzles me, considering the business of being First Lady, you have to contend with all manner of cultures that you just don't encounter as a Chicago homemaker or professional woman. It is an embarrassment to us that it is allowed to continue this way.
Just wondering how the Russian people feel about our First Lady wearing a festive coral-colored dress to the tomb of their unknown soldier....

From what I hear Michelle is going to bless the world by having Micheal Jackson’s final baby. Barack had been trying for some time to father another child but it seems he just found out Larry Sinclair cant have children. Big Bird has more fashion sense than Michelle. The picture at Drudge has her 'still' doing her 'sweater thing' (does this woman own a SUIT?)in her and this time a full flowered skirt/ala mu-mu look; to go with it. . .not to mention a 'huge' bod -that she cannot hide underneath. That white full (bell; bubble?) skirt; REALLY looked horrendous this past weekend. . .how about 'dark' on bottom next time. . .
Who dresses this woman. ..getting of the plane she looked like something from a Nigerian marketplace; rather then a 'First Lady'.
