Police target 30 in hunt for Michael Jacksons drug suppliers
John Harlow
Police want to question 30 doctors, nurses and chemists who may have helped to supply Michael Jackson with prescription drugs as his family argue over the final details for his memorial service, which is to be held on Tuesday.
The police taskforce, established as a formality when Jackson died 10 days ago, is snowballing into a widespread investigation checking prescriptions for painkillers found in his house under fictional names such as Jack London and Omar Arnold.
Omar was Jacksons nickname for Lou Ferrigno, the 1970s Hulk actor who was training Jackson for his 50 London shows. Arnold is the first name of his dermatologist, Arnold Klein, who was reportedly preparing his skin for the same performances.
Klein, who denies any wrongdoing, is on a list of people who police and drug enforcement officials want to interview.
Others include Jacksons live-in doctor, Conrad Murray, a cardiologist who has talked to the police twice, and Cheri-lyn Lee, his last nurse. She said Jackson had begged her for diprivan, a milk-like anaesthetic also known as propofol and used to sedate horses.
Police have confirmed that the anaesthetic was found in Jacksons home but refused to comment on reports that he had taken it through an IV drip which was set up in his bedroom hours before he suffered a cardiac arrest.

If he was an average pervert who OD’d the police would be saying ‘good riddance’. The ‘King of Pop’ get’s special treatment. He offed himself. If no drugs were available it would have been booze and OTC pills.
I wonder if we are going to get riot by stressed out worshipers and their trouble making “leaders.”
Night sweats also come with AIDS.
If so, I would say his family doesn't want that to be found out.
Insurance default on suicide.
Any bets on how many people with die at his “funeral”?
What a waste of police manpower.
MJ had personal chemists? Whoda thunk it?
Good point. He probably had a large fortune insured on his life.
Um um. Ain't gonna go there. Shutting my mouf here boss.
The more one learns about Jack-o the more obvious it becomes he was a freak.
They are serving caviar because it comes on little white crackers.
Of course he is a freak, but what does that say about the vast number of followers?
Can’t have supply without demand.
Chuckle!
What worries me the most about spectacular celebrity deaths due to OD is that the FDA will have another knee-jerk reaction and look at pulling the drugs involved.
If they follow through with yanking Percocet from shelves I’m in trouble. I’m careful with it, take less than the prescribed dose and do NOT take acetominaphen. Yet I’m about to be punished by a few boneheads who can’t read labels.
Add Obama onto list of “one of the trouble making leaders” -article states Obama will be there (tho I thought he was to be in Russia with other trouble-making leaders.)
If only those Londoners would learn to use proper English — American, of course, especially today of all days!
“MJ had personal chemists?”
Yup! Those nutty English! Pharmacists=chemists.
I found the Jimi Hendrix story linked at the site to be much more interesting!
