Biden on Iran: 'Everything Is On the Table'

Vice President Joe Biden told me today "everything is on the table" when it comes to protecting the interests of the U.S. and Israel against the threat of an Iranian nuclear attack.

During my exclusive interview with Biden in Iraq airing Sunday on "This Week" I asked the vice president about recent comments by former secretary of state James Baker who suggested that the way to deal with Iran's nuclear program going forward is to target U.S. missiles on Iran the way the nation targeted them against the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

I asked Biden," Do you agree with that?"

"I don't think it's appropriate for me to discuss whether our strategic policy should be relative to Iran, other than to say to you is that tried expression, everything is on the table," Biden told me.

'Everything Is On the Table'

D@#n, John, pick up your brain and stuff it back up your nose--it's worthless, and besides it is messing up the table.

Even an idiot would understand that we should hold off on such statements until Iran gets the message that their election actions are not productive.

Hell, it’s been three or four days since anyone was killed. Why it’s time to tell Iran we’re ready to play ball.

And these folks called Reagan, Quayle, Bush I, Bush II, and Palin stupid.

Even the media, generally willing to buttress the idea that any Republican is brain dead, fails to grasp how stupifyingly inept Jokin’ Joe really is.

I understand why, but this guy is seriously very troublesome.

One thing we should have it the ability to deploy a few thousands/tens of thousands/hundreds of thousands of routers that are able to form a self organizing wireless network. Something like a wireless version of what the internet was originally before it became more efficient (but more fragile) to use fewer, more centralized DNSs. Have the ability to smuggle the equipment across the borders or even with high altitude air drops. Put so many of them into Iran that it is impossible to hunt down all of them to shut down the network. Then make sure that if any of those routers that are near the border can connect to the main internet.

Getting rid of the current Iranian government could be the greatest single step for worldwide peace and stability possible. I hope that Obama is just being quiet about it because this is something the CIA should be working on covertly and bellicose speeches only interfere with that. On the other hand I fear and expect that Obama sees a chance for deal making with the current Iranian regime and doesn't want to mess up his statesmanship with something messy like freedom.

jsut like he wants to put the commie bastitich back in power in Honduras.

At the Dayton Tea Party yesterday one of the speakers was a Honduran immigrant who became a US citizen. Most of her speech was about her love for her adopted country, but she was spoke with outrage about Chavez and Obama trying to force Honduras to put Zelaya back in power.

In the USSR’s final years President Reagan and Pope John Paul II used the Vatican’s diplomatic cover to smuggle as many as 1 million fax machines into the former Soviet Union. When the coup against Gorbachev occurred and the generals overlooked shutting the overseas phone lines down the lines were flooded with messages to foreign news and diplomatic numbers. The tactic worked and themedia made fools of the generals at their news conference (the fcat they were obviously drunk didn’t hurt either).
