SARAH PALIN TURNS TO FIGHT!
JEFFHEAD.COM ^ | July 4, 2009 | Jeff Head

Posted on 07/04/2009 9:00:53 AM PDT by Jeff Head

On July 3rd, Sarah Palin, once again, turned the Main Stream Media pundits, the liberal policiticians, and the political establishment in Washington DC on their ear. Talk again is abuzz, "What will Sarah do?" I listened to her entire announcement. It was honorable, it was direct, and it punctuated the insane politics of our day...it also punctuated her personal commitment to fight for conservative principles and candidates...to fight for America, and to do so when it would not distract further from her job as Governor and the foundation she has built there.

I am proud of her and support her. She is a great American.

I think Sarah has just turned, like a fed-up mama Bear, on her detractors and on the sad state of affairs afflicting our nation. She has put things in order, she has left them in the hands of capable people, and she has now turned to face the enemy directly. The enemy of big, inflated government, the enemey of abject socialism and marxism runnink amuck in our nation, the enemy of out of control spending, the enemy of energy dependence, the enemy of moral decay, and the enemy of the culture of death in our society.

I think all of the enemies, and the people who support them and perpetuate them are going to be sorry. We have smelled the fear in them for a long time as they have attacked this good woman, her family, and her children. Good on her!

I believe she will assist conservative candidates greatly in 2010, with huge crowds and building imense political capitol as she goes. I believe she will build personal capital as she speaks out in support of fundamental American and moral principle all around this nation, and I believe she will take all of that capital and will run herself in 2012 for President...and she has my full support.

GO SARAH GO!

“Sarah is now going to able to “attack from a different direction.””

She'll now be able to attack from all directions and at the same time making herself a more illusive.

She was a sitting duck up in Alaska, but it'll be more difficult for her enemies to get a fix on a moving target.

Todd Palin could get more people to come out to listen to him than Biden who recently was able to get 100 people to gather. Sarah will knock it out of the park!

I like Sarah, in fact she was my choice of a running mate before McLame picked her... however

She NEEDS serious work on her public speaking if she's going to try and attract the masses to her message.

IMHO... she needs to

1) Slow down her talking, she talks too darn fast while at a podium.

2) Cut down the folksy analogies to occasionally, she doesn't need an analogy in every speech.

3) Stop repeating points... she has a tendancy to rephrase a point several times during a speech.

4) Use professional speechwriters... If she were to work with a speechwriter, her message and presentation would be smooth and polished, resulting in the masses having higher confidence in her.

If she doesn't improve her public speaking, she's not going to end up as President... PERIOD. As much as I'm a fan of her, she will end up attracting the base, a small portion of the independants and that's about it.

The way a politition projects themselves is hugely important, they can either inspire confidence or come off as a cartoon. Right now Sarah is setting herself up to be made a caracature by the MSM, Comics, actors and Democrats at large. I really want Sarah to be successful but her voice is tinny, her delivery seems rushed, she fills her speeches with silly analogies and she sounds unscripted, drifting and amaturish.

Please Sarah PLEASE... see a speech coach to work on your delivery. Hire the best writers you can find and get your message across in a smooth elegant style. You can beat Barry in the next election but you must appear to the masses as a stateswoman not a provincial amature.

PLEASE!!!

Another military analogy from an earlier thread, from Karl In Ohio, responding to the rhetorical question, Did a Scandal Sink the U.S.S. Palin?

>> Sink? She was getting bombed in the harbor where she couldn't maneuver in a thousand and one Pearl Harbor-type sneak attacks, so she's moving out to the open ocean where she can fight. <<

I believe that she has the liberal media, including Fox News in a frenzy, because she is not telegraphing her intentions. My prediction is that we are going to see Sarah emerge in a position higher than Alaska Governor very soon, perhaps in the next few weeks. She laid out a coded message yesterday, and when you put what she said, and what Todd said, and then put what she has been up to the last 30 days together, it falls perfectly in place. Expect to see her as a corporate executive who can tinker with what she wants to without the need to take any of the liberal abuse.

Speculation about her motive is rampant. Each one reflecting the mindset and world view of the speculator. That her "consultants" were not of the establishment variety simply baffles the pundits. Perhaps that may be a great plus for her.

At any rate, she has disarmed her potential critics of one point, that by "neglecting" the "job" of Governor for a run for the presidency she is disqualified from aspiring to the office of the Presidency. Come to think of it, isn't this the exact criticism she and others made of the current President while he was neglecting his Senate responsibilities and running for the office?

Palin seems to be an authentic "maverick," and that is what frustrates the political establishment! They just cannot understand a person who actually adheres to the principle they impose on others.

One thing is certain: the Far Left has been, and is, committed to destroying any individual whose "star power" rivals that of their chosen one, and they don't mind destroying families at the same time.

Perhaps it may turn out to be that Palin recognizes a fact the so-called "father" of our Constitution noted over 200 years ago, namely:

"It is the duty of every man to render to the Creator such homage . . . as he believes to be acceptable to him. This duty is precedent both in order of time and degree of obligation, to the claims of Civil Society. Before any man can be considered as a member of Civil Society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe." - James Madison’s 'Remonstrance'

If Palin has considered her obligations to the "Governor of the Universe" regarding duty to family and principles as being superior to partisan "duty," then her decision will, in all likelihood, be found to resonate more favorably with thoughtful American voters in the future. Let's hope that this is the brand of "toughness" she exhibited yesterday. If not, then time will tell.

At any rate, it is a wonderful example for others that duty to God and family are far more important in the total scheme of things than duty to Party or office.

Ensign, Sanford, and others, are you taking heed?

“In military terms...she has just flanked the enemy. “

None of us really know what she has in mind. You could be right. During the Civil War, the Cherokee troops refused to continue to walk out in line over and over just to be shot down by the oncoming enemy. Instead they retreated and attacked, taking out the enemy.

The same idiots who have proclaimed Sarah as a "quitter" are the same who spoke of the "military coup" in Honduras.

They do not have the intellect to understand what Sarah said in her statement.

We would hope so...

...but I believe that an extraordinary action must be taken before 2012, and even before Nov 2010.

Note that neither Obama nor anyone in his admin nor in our 'rat congress have denied that socialism is their goal here.

They are cramming it down our throats as we speak. Extreme pressure must be concentrated on the "blue dogs", and the squishy Republicans in the congress. If they actually pass "cap and trade" and a national health care system, then the game is over unless some way is found to delay the implementation until after Nov 2010.

What this "extraordinary action" might be is to be determined, but it must be swift and effective when it is applied.

The 'rats just cannot turn us into a socialist state just because they wrangled enough votes from the hyphenated class, "deadbeat-Americans"...deadbeats cannot be allowed to run things.

Deadbeats took over Rhodesia, and look what happened to them.

There is a HUGE difference between being polished and being a phoney and a liar.... public perception of Sarah will go up, so you have a problem with that?

to me it sounded like being yourself is less inspiring than
become a politician of the same mold, I believe those that set out to embark on a more refined better dressed Washington Palin, did her a great disservice, we need a plain speaking Will Rogers type to speak to us in all our grammatical errors and tics.
