I had wanted you to just disappear, but you didn’t.
I didn’t know what you looked like, so I had to go back through many of your old posts, trying to glean from them enough information to allow me to fashion a small doll in your image. I am quite satisfied with the results.
Right this very minute, I am sticking a needed in it’s left eye, please tell me, are you getting a headache?
Tomorrow I will make it anatomically correct and I might have a few more “how ya feelin’” questions for you.
Oh, for the love of...
What kind of silliness is this? Is this like Clinton and his definition of what "is" is?
She quit. She was elected to be Governor. She left that position voluntarily before her term was over. She quit.
How exciting! I love you too!
While in response to asking, Hey, do you want me to be a positive influence and fight for all our children’s futures from outside the governor’s office? it was four yeses and one Hell, yeah. The Hell, yeah sold it.
I think that’s a pretty accurate transcription of what I heard (several times), up to the last part. I’m certain that she said “The ‘Hell, yeah’ SEALED it.”
Not to quibble. Just for accuracy’s sake.
LOL
Good night.
“She left that position voluntarily before her term was over. She quit.”

Your penultimate sentence is correct. But that’s all. Sarah Palin has never quit in her life. You don’t understand what she did today.
needed=needle
I often hear her say progress as a verb, instead of using advance or some other word.
She must have used it in a piece of different footage shown today.
Reagan gave speeches for GE in the 1950’s.
I think a little practice will polish her as a communicator.
My tagline is right. imho
Au contraire, she just did.
You dont understand what she did today.
Yes, it's like quantum physics. It's way above my head, apparently. What exactly is it called in your world when someone leaves their job?
Progress. (Unless I discovered my life's calling in a fruit packing plant at the age of 14.)
For someone whose greatest liability was her lack of experience, resigning her job as governor after less than three years seems questionable if she has presidential aspirations. Better to have followed in the footsteps of Reagan and Bush and continued her popular and successful governorship until she was ready to start her presidential campaign. Can’t really understand her actions.
OK, if I ever want to quit my job I’ll just waltz into my bosses office and tell him I’m “progressing”... right out the door.
Interesting. I feel like I’m trapped in a Clinton deposition.
You’re certainly entitled to leave a job and do something else with your life. We’ve all done it. And you can certainly call it “progress” and it may well be. But don’t pretend that doesn’t mean you “quit” the job you’re leaving. Especially if it was a job you were specifically elected to for a four year term and you “progress” after two years.
Palin may or may not seek the white house in 2012, BUT as the Washington Post (of all places) pointed out today, Alaska is simply too far away, and the position of governor is simply too time consuming for Palin to make the kind of impact she's capable of if she is unfettered.
"I found my arms and legs were strongly fastened on each side to the ground." Gulliver's Travels, as illustrated by Milo Winter.
I have one that says “Presstitutes Suck”......
This conversation reminds me of Dr. Laura's opposition to Palin's candidacy because Palin wasn't staying home to care for her children.
Sometimes life has other callings in store for you, and the world might be a better place if you listen.
That’s all well and good if she believes life has other callings for her. Good for her. Let her pursue them. But the fact remains, she quit THIS calling (the governor thingy) to pursue them. You can call it progress or whatever you want. But in order to pursue this “progress” or “life’s calling” she quit her current position.
And, yes, oral sex is sex, Bill.
Of course she quit.
Um, tell that to CharterOakie. He's apparently unaware.
“...remain extremely visible...”
As opposed to extremely invisible?
