Could Sarah's move mean the beginning of a Conservative third party?

I don't think she's going to try to start a third party. That would be pointless, divisive, and I think not her style. I thinks she's more the type to just grab the bull by the horns and start pushing it back. We needs to make the Republican party come around to HER way of thinking.

I don’t know about starting a third party or moving to one, but I’ve heard through the grapevine that Rush and Mark Levin have been having some meetings and some very important people have attended.. what it is about, I have no idea, but it would be cool if there was a conservative take-back and starting to promote and build someone up early like the libs started doing with Obama in 04.

I hope not! Conservatives seriously need to make the entire GOP “all conservative” for the long-term future, and this must be a major priority for the future of U.S. conservatism! There are already some minor political parties that are pro-conservative, and they haven’t been able to seriously become major political parties. Conservatism must successfully win from within the GOP, and the GOP must really do all that they can do to end the existence of RINOs from within the GOP for the long-term future!

Some of you think you can snap your fingers and start another party. That couldnt be further from the truth .. Wrong. It was last done in 1992 when the Reform Party achieved 20% of the vote nationally in that year's Presidential Election. I oughtta know, I was one of the people here in Illinois responsible for getting Perot's name on the ballot.
20% of us got it right that year, the remaining 80% of you pissed away your chances to make real, substantive change in this country.
Now you can get off your high horse and illogical defense of the Republicrat party and join the revolution, or you can stay where you're at and get run over. Your choice, either way people like myself just don't give a damn'. We're sick and tired of people like you whining, moaning and complaining only to give us the same old assholes in Washington DC who prefer to line their pockets with our hard earned taxpayer dollars and screw the rest of us.
Your choice: Lead, Follow, or get the hell out of the way.

What heroine worship? Palin believes in freedom, limited government, low taxes, and a strong national defense. If she looked like Helen Thomas I’d still support her.

I’ve been thinking for some time that she is looking to a third party. She has shied away from prominent Republican gatherings. I, for one, am tired of the Republicans. As a social conservative I see the fiscal single issue wing of the party more than willing to turn their back on the social issues. Sean Hannity, for example, would gladly have supported Giuliani and turned his back on the social issues since his only true core belief is in low taxes.

Since the GOP has fallen in the hands with the likes of McCain, Snowe, Collins, etc, I think I will follow Palin to the new Conservative Party.

If she does, I’ll join. It’s not “Palin” worship ... it’s a combination of being true to Conservative ideals and being fed up with the Republican party for *not* being true to Conservative ideals. If such defiance costs the Republicans another election, I’ll still sleep well at night right up until I’m hauled off to the Gulag. (And, I bet the people I meet at the Gulag will wish they had voted for Palin, too.)

Well, we will need someone to start one and who is better to start it than Sarah? I would support her 100%. I am fed up with the Republicans who are just a bunch of weak-kneed dems. I said I would not vote for John but I changed my mind when she came on board. She was someone I could support and did.

If Sarah starts a new Conservative Party she can count me in. I am so sick of the spineless Republicans and the communist Democrats. I would like a job in her organization to help get America back on track. I am very passionate about freedom. My family tree contains signers of the Declaration of Independence
