Could Sarah's move mean the beginning of a Conservative third party?

There is a tipping point, when a third party will be viable. Are we at that point now or soon into the future? I don’t know. Perot at one point was leading in the polls. Has the standing and credibility of the two parties improved since 1992? I don’t think so, their reputation is as bad as it ever was. A Palin-launched Conservative Party would rip a huge hole in the GOP. The GOP should clean up its act or it can be replaced.

I hate the Republican party, bunch of elitist bastards who stab each other in the back...

What an excellent way of putting it!

Then came the announcement of Sarah for VP. The sea change was palpable! There was finally HOPE. Hope that Sarah could bring McCain back to the right, to be the sane voice of Conservatism in a McCain administration. Wallets opened spontaneously. Conservatives came back to the phone banks, to the neighborhood walks. Be in any local party HQ and what you heard was "I'm here because of Sarah." I was one of them and that's my testimony.

Good on you. The GOP failed in two respects. First: infighting regardless of platform. Second: running leftist. The donks kept on message and won. I saw the McCain/Huckabee/Romney results. This forum, by default, supported the loser in that scenario. And Palin is the loser in this scenario, with huge support here. Not from me. So the harpies call for my eradication because I call their fidelity into question. If the negotiations for getting (politically) screwed involves the price and conditions, do not call any of the thread harpies a harlot. Just shut up and take it.

Yet those true conservative parties fails to get at least 1% of the vote.

...& you expect getting even better results by starting a brand new political party?

ROFL. The Reform Party didn't exist in 1992. Get your facts straight.

ROFL all you want, facts are facts despite your continued ignoring them. The Reform Party existed in 1992, filed for and received ballot access in the '92 Presidential Elections and received 20% of the vote.

It was the 80% of you who were (and still are) "stuck on stupid" with the two-party system. Again, that's a fact and yes you are defending the Stupid Party despite your protestations of being "realistic." You're anything but. You and the rest of your ilk who continue to vote for the same corrupt members of the two party system are like battered stepchildren: You crave attention from the very people who continue to IGNORE you.

IMO this country faces one of two options: The revolution happens at the ballot box, or it happens with guns, bullets, tar, rope and feathers. If you think you're can affect a revolution at the ballot box by voting for the same party that's ignored you for DECADES then you're the one who's "drank the mainstream koolaid" especially if you think you can get the RINO's out of the Stupid Party.

Yeah, good luck with that.

This is my thinking also. If there is going to be a Revolution in this country the cleanest way to go about it would be with a new political party. The Dims and GOP are both filled to the gills with lifelong politicians and the political class is mostly made up of folks benefiting from that system in one way or another. They don't care about anything but keeping the same old system in place.

A conservative party made up of non politicians and lead by a non politician in Palin could actually tip the balance and relegate the GOP to third party status in a surprisingly short time and become the majority conservative party.

Hey troll, take your lame a$$ back to your fellow idiots at DU (dumb-asscrat underground)...

Please tell me how your idol rushbo helped you. Did he convince you to vote for Hillary!? Did he convince you to ignore Huckabee and Romney? Limbaugh is a Statist at heart. He supported Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, and any other Title IX or Title VII EEOC crap that came along. And convinced you to be ashamed of yourself. Pitiful.

No, she’s not that stupid, nor does she want Obama to win a second term.

The Republican Party is the only vessel through which conservatives can influence policy and win office in this country. A third party is a fool’s errand and only serves the liberals.

Don’t let Random Hate Boy get under your skin. He’s just angry because he has no penis.

Ha. Just because I refuse to back a Geraldine Ferraro or Ann Richards wannabe on the ticket. I must say that Ann Richards had more balls than you and your ilk. Show me the hate.

Please list your platform for conservative resurgence during the 2010 election cycle. Specifically the constitutional application of individual and state rights. I contend that you can not, and will not. For your ideology is identical to the current regime. You merely claim to be on the “right”.

Third parties are DOA outside of protest votes. They have been that way since 1856. That's the way it is. If you want to see a conservative party, fix the republican party and get active.

This finishes the Republican party.

Like it was finished in the 30's, 40's, 64, 74, and 92.

They don’t have anyone else to offer.

Jindal? Barbour? Pence? DeMint? Daniels?

*Republican party, bunch of elitist bastards*

That is a very broad statement.

You have to work within the party.
My famiy who are Republicans from the
time of the Civil War are blue collar and
the ones with college degrees got them
buy working while in colege. Also Military,
enlisted to Officers.

One Republican family member, her husband and 5 children
all grew up in a small two bedroom one bath tiny house
in New Jersey.
The 5 kids worked themselves through Rutgers Univ.
Other family members with the same type of story.

elitist bastards, think not. they are all Conservative Republicans period.

So state exactly which candidate you believe will win the conservative vote. And why that candidate should be nominated and elected. Use the word “penis” and “balls” as often as necessary.
