TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (AP) — Honduras' Supreme Court rebuffed a personal appeal from the Americas' top international diplomat Friday, refusing to restore ousted President Manuel Zelaya before a Saturday deadline.
Jose Miguel Insulza, who heads the Organization of American States, flew to Honduras in an attempt to persuade the forces that ousted Zelaya to take him back in the face of overwhelming international condemnation and economic sanctions.
He met for two hours with Jorge Rivera, president of the Supreme Court that authorized the military to seize Zelaya on Sunday and fly him into exile.

If there is anyone here who doesn’t understand why we cannot support a slick socialist politician like Mitt Romney, God help you, but you’re on the wrong website. We went through this with the abortionist, gay rights activist, illegal alien supporting, gun grabbing Rudy Giuliani until someone created another website call WAnkers for Rudy and they all flew the coop. Hopefully, before too much FReeper blood is shed, someone will create a WAnkers for Romney site and we can be left to fight the good fight as we see fit!

I'm not going to get steam-rolled again. I went for it before, because I figured anything, even a faithless sleazebag like McCain, was better than an Obama nightmare. Well, guess what, we got the Obama nightmare anyway. The worst that could happen, happened. If they want my support they can by golly put someone up there I can be proud of, or watch the party drift away into complete and embarrassing irrelevancy. And if thats where they are headed, they can go there without me.
