(2009-07-03) Sarah Palin today announced she would step down as Governor of Alaska in order to spend more time with CBS News anchor Katie Couric, ABC News anchor Charlie Gibson and several unnamed former staffers from John McCains presidential campaign.
We all have our priorities in life, said the former Republican vice presidential candidate. I met so many interesting people during the presidential race and many of them still have the same commitment toward me that they had during the campaign.
Gov. Palin said she looks forward to relaxing, fishing, hunting and just generally giving people something to Twitter about.
Now that is funny.
Thanks, Scott. Humor is good on a gray day.
If Katie can outwit Sarah and make her freeze up like a deer in headlights then...
Man ya had to go there, can’t we just have a little fun.
Don’t underestimate Palin....she is changing the rules of engagement from defense to offense, and it’s brilliant.
The scrapple-faced article said — Sarah Palin today announced she would step down as Governor of Alaska in order to spend more time with CBS News anchor Katie Couric, ABC News anchor Charlie Gibson and several unnamed former staffers from John McCains presidential campaign.

I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m going to look at it soon. It looks like something to pay attention to...
Courva will be tied up the next few days. She’s anchoring the CBS Evening News on Mon. and Tues from Staples Center in L.A. covering the Jackson funeral. Gotta bolster those sagging ratings, and she knows what the American sheeple want to see.
LOL — let’s keep a tally on how many people take this seriously — I count 1 or maybe 2 so far...
Our Gal Sarah isn’t quitting anything!! She is tough, she has principal and she is a Patriot! She will do what she said..and if and when the dogs nipping at her heels get kicked out of the way, Sarah will decide that for herself. We can only hope she will take the lead. Americans are losing liberty everyday at the hands of a Socialist redistribution thief, living in our White House. BO is stealth, he is fast and he lies like a pro. Take a hard look at your 401’s if you have any left. Sarah made more than one pointed reflection on what hits our country have taken since the new administration took over.
And Mr. Ott just hit another one outta the park! He’s SO clever! :-D
Yeah, you know what they say: The best offense is a good quitting.
Palin/Sanford 2012. Just Kidding!
That's the way I see it too. She's changing her role in a bigger picture than governing the state of Alaska, and she is looking out for the best interest of Alaskans at the same time. It's a wise move, regardless of how far she goes. She has at least as much power from this position, as she had from the governor's office.
Thanks for the post !!!!.....enjoyed :-)
If she starts de facto running for '12 by stumping for GOP candidates in crucial battleground states for the '10 cycle, this will get interesting really fast. We'll have a virtual female Rush Limbaugh, calling out 0'bonehead and his Administration on every socialist, anti-business, anti-free market, anti-Constitutional, anti-American stunt, but doing it with a national voice, face, and presence which the media will be unable to lay off of, and which impacts tens-of-millions more people every day than does a radio broadcast (sorry, Rush! :-O).
It'll be alot easier for people to admit what an absolute disaster it was to have voted for this ass-bandit once there's a real American answer to the question which that admission poses. If not Barrak Hussein O'prompter, then who?
Come on, Palin. Make my day. Please?
;-/
I turned over to CNN to see their spin, and ended up ROFL..that woman had on Lt Gov of AK and spokeswoman for Palin by phone. She asked the Lt Gov what Palin had left him (looking for negatives) and he said “She left a great legacy and a SURPLUS of money for state of AK”....and I just died laughing, it was the best political statement to a democrat audience in face of CA being bankrupt I’ve ever heard, and I’m thinking if the CA IOU’s idea has sunk in to those CA viewers, they will be thinking “Why in hell isn’t Palin running the gov’t or CA?”; it was hilarious!!
