We have the right to arms by the grace of God.

The 2nd Amendment is simply a reminder to the government not to mess with that right.

Exactly right. It is a natural right not to be infringed by the government. Drives me nuts when people think our rights derive from the Constitution. The Bill of Rights prevents government from taking away natural rights.

You raise a very important point , especially in light of the fact that with one more Supreme Court nomination, Obama owns all three branches of the government.

And, we just heard him inform his loyal 52%, that a President has the authority to ignore his nation’s Congress and Supreme Court.
