ANNANDALE, Va. (AP) — President Barack Obama wanted to put a human face on his plans to overhaul health care, and a Virginia supporter did just that Wednesday. Fighting back tears, Debby Smith, 53, told Obama of her kidney cancer and her inability to obtain health insurance or hold a job.

The president hugged her — she's a volunteer for his political operation — and called her "exhibit A" in an unsustainable system that is too expensive and complex for millions of Americans.

Under HIS plan, for treatment she would probably be given some benzos and some Fentanyl, and told to rest in bed for a few weeks. If she were older, that would surely be the case.

Smith, of Appalachia, Va., is a volunteer for Organizing for America, Obama's political operation within the Democratic National Committee. She obtained her ticket through the White House.

Volunteer - they don't get paid, do they? The real question is how did she actually come by her ticket. Was she searched out by zero's operatives looking for someone with a "good" story? How did any of the attending people get their tickets? Do they all work for or volunteer for the DNC or ACORN or some other Demo group?

Were there any non-Democrats in the audience (I didn't watch the farce, but did see a clip of zero hugging the well-fed crying woman)? Were any questions of substance asked?
I can't wait to see what Helen Thomas and Chip Reid have to say tomorrow (if they are allowed to attend any more WH briefings).

Worse yet, she is one of his worshipers.
This woman who was too sick to work for money was well enough to work for free fopr her new god.

If she is truly unemployed and poor, if she truly is sick and if she is in need of care there is plenty of care for her RIGHT NOW> If she was a volunteer on his campaign and they knew about her problems and didn't get her in contact with the proper authorities for her to receive medical care. They are to blame, not me and not the tax payers of this country.

So if this lady has no health coverage how did she find out she has a new tumor? Oh thats right, she found out at a hospital. She has plenty of health care just no insurance card in the pocket...Right? So the system worked.

Under Obama care, she is obese (coverage denied), has a terminal disease (get in the pian pill line) and go home and leave us alone. No job, No Taxes, guess the pain meds are gonna be a bottle of asprin.

Good example why the government needs to stay outta the hospital business and concentrate on building cars and screwing up someone elses life.
