Thanks for you perspective. So many American have absolutely no idea what it is like living in other countries, especially totalitarian ones.
I had the opportunities to hear stories from those who were ther, and it really opened my eyes - things Americans would never conceive of taken as every day experiences.
I remember one story from someone who grew up in Poland under the old Soviet Union - how when the people got restless the Polish government would establish military law before the Soviet Union did, because the Soviet Union would send in your long time ethnic enemy; how the Polish police would pick any young man from the streets, only beat them up a little bit, and drop them off at the edge of town.
This was much better than what your ethnic enemy would do.
Again, the Joe Sixpack gun owner is NOT trained to shoot down fellow countrymen for any reason unless being shot at. NOt even when sonene else is being shot down. UNless it’s a gangmember.
It may eventually boil downt this and that’s why so much ammunition has been bought up and so many weapons sold.
Legislation to make owning ammunition has been in the works for some time (unless it has a serial numbe on each bullet) and owning pre-serial ammo will be illegal !
Again. the enemy has a brain, but no scruples or principles, which in a crnch will become our weaknesses bu tnot theirs
There you go. You got the point.
Again, teh 90 million gun owners are Americans with Amerian ideals and law abiding mind sets, so will heistate or refuse to pull a trigger even on thugs, who deserve it and are trying to rule our country.
Not for much longer. We all now realize that DC has no respect for laws and the constitution. Los Angeles law abiding citizens got caught with no guns during the riots. Those that had guns did fight back, remember the Korean Grocers shooting from their rooftop. That was just one example of many. The armor clad marines stood guard at the gun shops such as Big 5 Sporting goods. I know because I saw them and their humvee guarding the entrance to a Big 5 on Santa Monica boulevard.
Even if they are ACORN thugs or part of the one million man personal Oba-Hussein million man Civil Security, brainwashed, fully army level equipped, armed and budgeted. Which is the full picture.
As a people we care about laws. As do the 80,000 soldiers in training for martial law. The One Million man force are brainwashed youth in awe of the Oba-Messiah and like the original Bassiji in Iran will do anything the Supreme Leader orders.
I do not know if you have been in or under a martial law situation, I have.
It does not take a lot of personnel to lock down a neighborhood, town or even a city.
You need occasional check points (often mobile instant ones) with orders/permission to shoot to kill if disobeyed and a few patrols. A few hundred people can control a large section of a city.

This all feels very sad - and possible.
I wouldn't doubt it, but the problem is I haven't found a reliable reference for it. Do you have one?
This has concerned me ever since I heard BO talk about his “civilian security force.”
The thugs against gun owners.
Well then it’ll just have to be a really nasty fight then, won’t it...
[buzzing sound effect]
Wrong...
I am a charter member of the “Bubba-Redneck Special Operations Force” better known as the BrSOF...
We are better trained and equipt to deal with this contingency/probability than some are led to believe...
Gotcha covered FARS...
“worthless”??? Thanks...
A friend and I went to an office...That office was hiring people to be trained to operate a GPS device that as we were instructed to do, and paid to do, was to go to an area where we were assigned and to “GPS tag” that particular lot/property...
We were instructed to estimate at that time what we saw at that address and enter in the data that we could determine to be accurate about that property...
At no time were we supposed to interact with anyone at that property, only collect the data we could determine at that time...
Thing like how many structures on the lot...Estimate how many bedrooms, norte how many vehicles were there at the address, any lofts of rooms above the garage, etc etc...
The GPS coordinate was to be able to take the location of the preliminary survey and enter it into a mapping or GIS type overlay...I believe I recall the reasoning was to assign the Census takers the most efficient area and route for those people as possible...Thats it...
The preliminary data was to be compared to what was actually collected next year...
I was hired because I am familiar with the ESRI-GIS mapping program...
Why I participated??? Dude...I am unemployed...I needed a little folding money...And the friend of mine that did this with me was a Republican State Representative in the state of Texas...
I too have my concerns about who will be doing the actual Census next year...Not much we can do about it other than if you have the time to do this, volunteer, and step up tot he plate to take a position away from a potential ACORN person that would be doing it...
Please do not scratch your head anymore on my account...I am happy to try and explain anything else to you if you like...
I know this whole thing stinks, but I we both figured it might be interesting to see what they are doing with this...No matter how bad it looks...
I am absolutely supportive of the efforts to not give anymore infromation than the number of people living at the location being targeted...
I would say that the concerns about the potential misuse of the data are totally founded...
If I am lucky enough to be picked again for the census worker visit, then I will do the same thing I did last time...
“There are two adults living at this address, I am not required by the Constitution of these United States to answer anything beyond that enumeration. Good Day sir/ma’am.”
The GPS tagging in my opinion is nothing more than a tool for people who cannot visualize efficient routes and information gathering processes...
I am certainly not buying into the conspiracy that the GPS data will be used to target a smart bomb, on that location or any other nefarious purposes...
The people upstream of us did not look that bright...
Just my opinion, but you were not there...
I’ll be happy to see if there is anything else I can clear up for you...Please let me know...
I only know what I read, and it really doesn’t matter to me what you believe. The history of the Communist and Nazi take over of Europe in the 1920s and 30s is a tale of local police working with the government forces (Stalin’s and Hitler’s) to kill and imprison millions of citizens, and history always repeats itself. The only reason things are moving a bit slower in America is because of our second amendment rights that hold the wolves at bay, but that is not going to last long.
My major doubt about the whole thing is that General Sherman used 1850 Census information to target the civilian population for support of his "scorched earth" march through Georgia.
“buying an ACOG.”
What does that mean-that you’ll be joining the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists?;)
Thanks for the ping!
Do not expect the Marine Corp to go against any American Civilians,
in fact expect them to protect us from the 5th column interior threat.

Hey, you’ve got to make sure you have the younger generation in your pocket... ;)
Trijicon Inc makes a nifty combat rifle sight that has proved to be a force multiplier in Iraq and Afghanistan. It allows for quick target acquisition with both eyes, day or night. Not cheap though....

Empty lots are what got BO elected.
Then whoever you are and whichever political stripe, that's all you need to know about what Obama strives to be.
Where did you get that tidbit about Obama wanting to change the military oath?
