A 300 page bill. None of which was on the Rep's desks nor in the floor Well at the time of voting.

Basic legislative process was not followed as the bill was not voted from committee before the vote (99% of the time is how things work).

Change we can beleive in.

Dave is no Jennifer Dunn.

I intend to do EVERYTHING (legal) that I can to unseat this traitorous bastard. I am incensed with his mealy-mouthed approach to representation.

A submissive US, taxed and capped by a world authority will never lead anything and merely require elected or appointed compliance managers.

I am dumbfounded that there are actually people out there that think the Republican party is somehow better than the democratic party.

Both parties are utterly corrupt to the core and I have no time for neither. When those that are left rebuild, I hope something better than the two party system comes out of the Phoenix.

Interview with Sen Inhofe R-OK. Discusses the EPA cover-up of Global Warming study.

Inhofe says the Cap & Trade bill will not pass the Senate, that it’s, “Dead on arrival.”

With amendments 900 pages of an unread “Cap” bill includes an EPA person must approve your house according to the “Cap” regulations before you sell it?

Remember the local and state building regulations that you have worked under if you are a builder. As New Yorkers would say, Forgetaboutit…

The new legislation that passed through the House Friday night, unread by any of the Congress people, had inserted into the bill a new NATIONAL BUILDING CODE. You heard me right, there is language that would have a national building code override your local and state codes.

The bill would give the federal government power over local building codes. It requires that by 2012 codes must require that new buildings be 30 percent more efficient than they would have been under current regulations. By 2016, that figure rises to 50 percent, with increases scheduled for years after that. With those targets in mind, the bill expects organizations that develop model codes for states and localities to fill in the details, creating a national code. If they don’t, the bill commands the Energy Department to draft a national code itself.

That message must be delivered to this treasonous dog so he knows he’s toast. None of these dogs are representing the American people. Is there any way to impeach or get rid of traitors?

"A 300 page bill."

It is my understanding, via Rush, that the 300 pages were just the amendments to the bill.

Are the ‘Bama and the Democrats quietly conducting a reign of terror in Congress? With the total loyalty of the MSM, and it’s willingness to bury stories of corruption like the firing of the IG, can anybody stand against him?

Sure. The House can vote to impeach any Federal officer. The number of times the House have voted to impeach a House member, unless I am much mistaken, is 1.

I suppose kneecapping might discourage treason. But, as the old children's fable asks, ''Who will bell the cat?''

Let’s just see if the people in his district get off of their arses & throw him out in the primaries. I have my doubts.

He WAS offered some kind of deal/bribe to vote “Yes” for this 1.3 trillion dollar tax increase.

We just don’t know what it was. Yet.

Almost all forms of power generation, except nuclear can be considered solar energy.

Hydro based power is also ‘solar’ energy ... without the sun, there wouldn’t be evaporation which gives the water its potential energy.

Oil and coal are ‘solar’ energy. Plants used the sun’s energy to split the carbon dioxide molecule and then used this carbon to grow. (The cycle time for oil may not even be the millions of years as we were taught in grade school... it might be oils from algae and bacteria form oil fields in a much shorter time span).

Nuclear power is not solar energy.

Ethanol from plants (both 6 carbon and cellulosic) is also ‘solar’ energy.

Bio-diesel & other fuels from blue-green algae is also ‘solar’ energy.

And of course, solar energy is also solar energy.

Wind based power is also ‘solar’ energy. Without the heating and cooling of our planet, we wouldn’t have winds.

Wave based power is mostly ‘solar’ energy based on winds.

(The above list is in cost per energy unit).

And of course, solar energy is also solar energy.

Photovoltaic, thermal, and (concentrated) thermal.
