Fox News ^ | 6/29/2009 | Self

Inhofe just interviewed live on Fox. Fox is running with the suppressed EPA report challanging manmade global warming as a major story. Inhofe says the Cap and Trade bill is "DOA" in the Senate. There will be an investigation into the EPA suppressing valid science. He said "I'm kind of rejoicing", and that he's finally vindicated after years of pointing out the poor science.

The Fox anchor: "This is huge!"

Victory!!!

I am not counting my chickens until they hatch. There is no bound to the stupidity and corruption in our Congress today.
we have seen Black Panthers being set free. IG’s fired for doing their jobs, bills enacted that have not been read, hell this bill received a majority and the whole thing wasn’t even allowed to be on the floor until 2 hours before the vote.
They voted on bill that 1/5 had not been read and portions were left blank to be inserted later.

I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble, bit I suggest we remain vigilant and not let our defenses or guard down just yet.

I wish EVERY state could muster the courage to send a team like Oklahoma has sent to the senate (Inhofe & Coburn)!

I'm unbelievably relieved.

No one should be relieved until the vote is confirmed! Don't become complacent! Don't assume the Senate will reject the bill. Now is the time to contact your Senators. We need to sustain the same amount of intensity everyday from today until the vote occurs as we did on Friday. All we need to do is contact one Senator per day either via phone, fax or email to maintain that amount of pressure given the thousands of Freepers. Pour it on and don't let up! Toll free numbers are below. 800-828-0498 877-762-8762

Since when does truth and science get in the way of a socialist agenda? We don’t have the votes to overturn this tax nightmare. I can’t believe that there are enough Dims to vote against 0bama and this bill.

I’ve seen a lot of posts by people that have basically said that if this thing were to pass, we would have moved on from the “awkward” phase here:

“America is at that awkward stage. It’s too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.” — Claire Wolfe

I think the government is listening. They want to push, but not too hard. It is a fine balance and they want to make sure they stay on the “safe” side.

This makes Chris Smith, Mary Bono Mack, and Mark Kirk look especially bad. I guess Kennedy of RI is angry too about having to leave rehab for nothing.

RM, at this point, I’d be thrilled if half the states had an Inhofe.

If anybody runs against the incumbent rats in 10 and DOESN’T bring up the fact that “HE/SHE VOTED FOR MEASURES THAT HE/SHE NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT OR KNEW WHAT HE/SHE WAS VOTING FOR”, then they don’t deserve to be elected.

I dunno. If things go better from here on out it will be more like the Battle of Midway. But there is going to have to be a Guadalcanal or a Gettysburg if there is ever to be a High Water Mark of the Communist Insurgency.

Don’t put down your guard. We still need to bombard the Senate with our concerns. We can never close our eyes for even a second.

Wise words. Inhofe's statement could be engineered to suppress anti-bill calls (from people who think it's no longer a problem) while intensifying pro-bill calls from the Greenies.

Inhofe is terrific but it is not time to be relieved. The House bill is not dead. All depends on whether the Senate can push their own bill, which does not include C&T, and keep the House bill out of conference committee. This is by no means a dead issue.

It's about time the truth came out.
The EPA was given orders to keep this quiet. Oboma wanted those tax dollars. He's got pork spending that has to be paid for - somehow. He needs money. Big money. He has to scam the taxpayers big time in order to dig his way out of what he's done.

I’m seriously not convinced, until the leftist dominated Congress really is replaced instead by a majority of “non-leftists”, and Sarah Palin, or some other ACTUAL CONSERVATIVE, is truly the next POTUS in the WH! Leftists from both major political parties really need to lose during the ‘09 election, and then keep on losing during future U.S. elections, that is, if the leftist majority even allow future elections to actually happen.

>Victory!!!<

In a sane world, I would agree and I’d be rejoicing with you. However, after seeing how the vote went in the House; after hearing that the bill would fail, I will not relax until the vote is counted in the Senate.
