She never taught Sunday school, from what I hear.
I don’t think she was a professional, more of a hobby.
Hobbyist!
Hobbyist!
Seek forgiveness with God. Find a good Bible-Believing Church and dedicate yourself to good works. Remember Mary Madelene who was a sinner and became favorite of Jesus. Find a good Christian Man and get married and have a load of kids. Maybe you will find peace in time. In my heart I have forgiven you and pray for your forgiveness.
She completely ruined the War in Iraq! She was the cause of the liberals going postal on the war and not supporting it any longer. She was the biggest threat to Iraqi freedom!
Meanwhile, how many of those restaurant workers who threatened to quit if Lynndie England were hired as well the others shunning her, are sobbing over pedophile Michael Jackson?
Lindie was found guilty by a jury...michael jackson was not. So to say anything I guess Lindie is the guilty party.
Lynndie was an administrative specialist. She wasn't supposed to be in the prison. She, her married boyfriend and their cronies were a disgrace to the United States Armed Forces.
Stupidity is its own punishment.
She did not harm me personally so it is not my place to offer her forgiveness.
You make a good point. Popular culture has a strange idea of forgiveness. First, someone has to do something to you. Then that person has to ask for your forgiveness. Then you either forgive them or not. If what is going on does not fit that template then that something has nothing to do with forgiveness.
You post was a parody right?
Just check the date on them, and see if they are new or not. I think it would be impossible to tell if someone were a troll or not on an anonymous forum, but if they’ve been here a while, they probably aren’t.
Yes and No—I do believe the message of forgiveness is the hall mark of the Christian Faith. That being said—Miss England seems to be a rather dim bulb. Religion never hurts.
I don’t know if Mary Madelene is a friend of Jesus but I just can’t forgive her for marrying James Car-vile.
My contempt is personal. Her actions ignited a firestrom of anger in the Muslim world. I personally do not think they ever raised to the level of torture, but the shear stupidity of her actions puts my son and others in jeopardy.
You're right my contempt and lack of compassion comes real near to the contempt and lack of compassion she showed for the people she was supposed to guard.
So you can take your compassion and pass it out to the people that died because of what she did.
I don't hate her because as a Christian, I don't hate. However, I still remember quite starkly the increase in bombings and IEDs after the media blasted the Abu Ghraib story all over the place.
Yes, the media was culpable, but so were Lynndie and her little friends, acting in such an unprofessional and undignified manner as they did.
Americans died as a result of that.
> She, her married boyfriend and their cronies were a disgrace to the United States Armed Forces.
Naturally, Bear, I will defer to your view on this matter as you are a member of the United States Armed Forces and I am not.
But I will ask you a question then, if I may. What is it that Ms England did that was so disgraceful? If these were proper POWs I could understand that building “naked pyramids” would be a violation of the Geneva Conventions and the US Articles of War. But as I understand it these weren’t POWs, they were terrorist slimeballs, the lowest of the low, unlawful combatant killer scum. Aside from being made to look rather foolish with underpants-on-the-head, these rat-bags got off rather lightly.
I’m quite frankly surprised the Ms. England has a boyfriend. She reminded me of a woman who wears comfortable shoes.
Now you attack my character on behalf of a loser that dishonored her uniform and endangered the well being of a lot of good warriors, the country, and the president who was trying to win the war on terror. I’d say that that says a hell of a lot more about your character, or lack thereof, than it does about mine. I can live with that.
