It didnt take them long to respond when several white Duke Lacrosse players were accused of raping a black stripper. A whopping 88 professors signed a statement accusing the players of both racism and rape. Such was their regard for the presumption of innocence. They should have all been fired for this public lynching.
Where are the protests now?

His arrest comes about a year after the Court decided that child rapists cannot be executed because society has evolved to the point where such executions would be indecent.
What a stupid sentence.
If we still have people that rape children then obviously society has NOT evolved to the point where such executions would be indecent...

A gay man involved in pedophilia. No way. Never happens.
Do I have to put a sarcasm tag?

I think the author would have inserted the /s sarcasm tag if he had been writing for freerepublic.

he is at Duke for the sake of diversity, doncha know.
by the way, what is the function of the Center for Health Policy. Is it one of those add-ons that provide places to place their non-teaching staff for purposes of diversity, and running up tuition costs?

Many thanks to Prof. Adams for getting the facts about this story.
It’ll be ignored by the media to the same outrageous extent that the Duke lacrosse case was hyped.

He gets only 20 years if convicted of being a vile pedophile predator?
I think the investigators should look into that Genesis Home. These pedo-nutcases network somehow, so I am suspicious of that place now. There may be nothing wrong at Genesis Home, but it wouldn't hurt to look into them a little bit.
Oh wait, nobody was convicted yet so I guess we can't assume this guy did this stuff or comment on it. At least that would be the case if his last name was Jackson.

Absolutely. It’s a gross and disgusting story, but the public actually does have a legitimate interest in knowing more about it, based particularly on the guy’s employment at the school (what is this “Health Policy” thing, anyway?) and his connection with Genesis House.
But it’s going to be hushed up so fast that in a couple of days it will have gone away altogether.

and not only Genesis House. Does N.C. allow adoptions by homosexual couples?? If so, I was not aware of it, and I doubt many around here are either.

NC used to ban adoptions across racial lines. Blacks didn’t want white people raising black children

The Associate Press (AP) did not mention the fact that the five-year old offered up for molestation was black. Bringing that fact to light might be damaging to the political coalition that exists between blacks and gays. Nor did the AP mention that the adopted child is being raised by a homosexual couple. Bringing that fact to light might harm the gay adoption movement. Well, probably neither item was newsworthy. If anyone wanted to know, I'm sure they would have mentioned it.

Editors at the networks and newspapers should be deluged with calls to cover the new “Duke Rape Case”.
