SALT LAKE CITY - There is more buzz that Kirk Jowers and Josh Romney may share a ticket in the 2010 Utah governor's race.
Friday's "Swing State Project Morning Briefing" said the Jowers-Romney ticket is moving closer to reality. The Salt Lake Tribune recently reported the two men were seen together at an ice cream social hosted by Rep. Jason Chaffetz.

Is this for Utah’s Governor/Lt Governor and a son of Romney not Romney the Dad?
As for your no more Bushes, Romneys, or McCains, you are right on and can add a few more like anyone who ran in the 2008 primary and couldn’t beat McCain.

You have to assume that Mutt Romney's kids are just as stupid as he and his dad are/were.
Just go away Romney, all of you!

In the history of the United States of America no Romney man has ever served his nation in uniform, but the family did produce a 1960s anti-war candidate for president and his son that avoided service while living in France, the family tradition continues today as that draft avoiding father runs for office of Commander in Chief. Romney men serve Utah they don't serve America

One should determine what the little Romney thinks.
Though it seems strange they are at a SWING state-convention.
Why dont the Romneys support ordinary families?
(Must be the RINO and DNC in them.)

Magic Underwear is a formidable foe during an election. I think. Especially in Utah and the mormon corridor.

Ah, that made me laugh out loud!
I thought we fought a war a long time ago so that we wouldn’t have to put up with “royalty”. Kennedys, Bushes, Romneys, etc. No thanks!

GF & NRT: I am a Roman Catholic and a conservative and no fan of anyone named Romney, but don’t you think that there are many opportunities for disagreeing with the Clan Romney on issues without making fun of their religion??? Furthermore, Mormons seem to vote heavily Republican and conservative. Why attack the religion of allies??? Free Republic and those who post here should be better than that.

No kidding. The Romney haters need to simmer the fudge down about him EVER being elected President. Not gonna happen.
Keep your eye on the Democrats and let’s find a better candidate to SUPPORT...not tear down!

From your posting history, it appears that making personal judgements of other FReepers is not foreign to you.
For example
"One thing that seems very clear to me after reviewing your posts here is that you are not a very promising ally."
and I particularly like this one, "If you think that sitting down and shutting up in the face of ones' enemies is such a good strategy. maybe you should teach by example."
Perhaps a dose of your own medicine, "Free Republic and those who post here should be better than that." Matt. 7:3

However, any negative commentary against them stems from Joe Smith (or Joe's Myth). Mormons do not follow basic Christian Doctrine and were led far astray by Smith. Smith thought Christianity was broken and flawed and he was gonna fix it. LOL. Mormons are in a cult; they are not "Christian"; they do not follow the Jesus of the Bible. If they would like to avoid an negative commentary towards their "religion", it would be best to drop the "we are Christians" charade. If Romney were to drop that game, he may even be electable.
Naaah.

You are right. I have very little problem making personal judgments against many who post here, based on the actual evidence presented. The language you reference was apparently directed at someone defending Obamanation's appearance at Notre Shame. I'll stand by that. Don't like it???? That's your problem!
I will not Kumbaya any enemy of the Catholic Faith. Someone who supports the granting of an honorary law degree to BO and allowing him to speak at Notre Shame is no conservative and no Catholic.
There is a BIG difference between engaging on issues and posting religious slurs against Mormons generally.
