Bono Mack, Castle, Kirk, Lance, LoBiondo, McHugh, Reichert, Smith -- traitors all -- under House rules, can change their votes on Cap and Trade until Wed, July 2.

Keep calling, faxing and emailing. Make them hear you.

Does anyone know how to email your representatives WITHOUT using the email registration forms on most reps web sites?

Snail mail still works and may be more effective.

Like to see some(all) of the democrats do the same.

Thank goodness 40 dems knew this was a horrible bill.

*hint*

MapQuest is your friend. Go to their district, and pick out some random street address. Maybe a mom and pop dry cleaner.

I did it. LOL

Well, I sent LoBiondo another e mail.
I’ve sent two so far telling him he will permanently lose our votes in the future if he continues to support this bill.
We’ll see what happens.

Didn’t someone post a list of contact numbers for these idiots? It needs to be reposted on here.

Faxes are better. However, they will see your phone number if you are out of their district they will be ignored.

Hey wait a second on that “snail mail” thing.

FAIR WARNING...

On my rep’s (Matheson, Utah) website he mentions quite clearly that snail mail goes through the capital security system (probably because of the Anthrax scare of some time ago). He tells us that snail mail will take THREE WEEKS to reach his office. Anything that needs to be read sooner should be emailed. I did NOT know this.

I learned this factoid last week!

We’ve got to stop thinking of these people as Republicans and Democrats. The people that voted FOR Cap and Trade are LIBERALS, not CONSERVATIVES. Call Lindsey Graham a “liberal” and he gets his hackles up. So lets look at these “Republicans” and start calling them “LIBERALS.” We need to start looking them in the eye and calling them what they are. (”Stupid” comes to mind).

FYI Guess we need to keep calling. Wouldn't it be a hoot if the “R's” changed their votes in the last available seconds. (making certain there is no time left for the D's to do the same)

Reichert just got a piece of my mind by email. We must all start an email/phone calling campaign.

I hate to tell you this, but before the Cap and Trade Vote, the Dem.s put a 4th of July Holdiay Adjournment up for a vote and it passed preety much along party lines. That means that the House stand sadjourned until after the Holiday Recess and members cannot change their vote while the House is in recess. Thus, the 5 day period will elapse. Sorry to break the news.
