Had enough? You and I, and all informed and concerned Patriots have spent countless hours on the phones and sending e-mails to our representatives, only for them to ignore us once again.
Now what are you going to do? Have more TEA PARTIES? That worked out great, didn't it? I appreciate your efforts; been there and done that when our Fedgov would still listen.
However, you are butting your heads up against the newly formed marxist Fedgov leviathan with signs and slogans, with nothing to back it up.
Once again, I say it is time for civil disobedience. THE only thing these corrupt self-serving totalitarian career politicians acknowledge is MASSIVE civil disobedience as in, Viet Nam war protests.
The next time you gather, it's time to annul (Websters: to make ineffective or inoperative) the totalitarian State that is exponentially growing by the week from the obambi, reid, pelosi socialist triad. Your Nation is slipping away while you conduct Parties and try to be the good guys. Maybe it's time for you to be the "assertive" guys.
The Republic is over, unless us Patriots are willing to give more. I am, and I have my SO's blessing to do so. I'm willing to go to jail for a day or two to make my point. Are you?
“Oh, the humanities”...and the blimp is pretty bad too.
(If it plunges, it will influence how the Senate votes)
This could very well be the reason the word is leaking out that it is dead in the Senate, to stop the market from plunging.
Next step is increased pressure on the State to move to reassert the 10th Amendment. And hunker down and prepare.
If that fails, all bets are off.
If this bill were to pass the Senate, this is the Auto Self-Destruct Button. Really Bad MoJo.
Sorry, I don't think so. The Stock Market has changed and is immune to stupid political tricks. It makes no sense anymore, as equities, commodities, treasuries go up and down in unison. Strange. Used to be equities go up, gold & other commodities go down, and vice versus. Not anymore.
However, I can see energy stocks going down a little. Cool. I've been looking to buy back into Cheasapeke (sp) and make so more.
The above aside, think BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China). Personally, I'm staying away from Russia, but China, Brazil and India are the future of growth. All (3) are building their infra-structure and that means materials and energy. All (3) have positive GDP's...where the US, England, and much of Europe have negative GDP's. The above are the future if you want to build your portfolio, as much as I hate to admit it. Emerging Markets...end story.
Adversity employs great talents; prosperity renders them useless and carries the inept, the corrupted wealthy and the wicked to the top
May they bear in mind that virtue often contains the seeds of tyranny
May they bear in mind that it is neither gold nor even a multitude of arms that sustains a state but its morals
May each of them keep in his house, in a corner of this field, next to his workbench, next to his plow, his gun, his sword, and his bayonet
May they all be soldiers
May they bear in mind that in circumstances where deliberation is possible, the advice of old men is good but that in moments of crisis youth is generally better informed that its elders

It still has to get through the Senate.
The man to SQUEEZE is Mitch McConnell.
It MUST be made clear to that bastard AND Michael Steele - that a repeat of what happened in the House will be the END- FINIS to the GOP and not one more Republican politician of whatever persuasion will receive one more dollar if he can’t make sure that all his people - including Graham, Snowe, Collins and McCain vote AGAINST this thing.
Further, they should be told that a failure on their part to kill this will mean we will sit home in 2010 and let the Dems and Obama take over COngress - it won’t represent us or America anymore anyway.
However, the below quote has been debated whether Tytler or someone else said it - some say Benjamin Franklin:
A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
No matter. It's obvious that the above statement is coming true...as witnessed by the individual/company/institution redistribution of wealth by the Fedgov over so many years.

Send the rats a message.
The US citizenry has become so apathetic that they are now easily sliding into "dependency" - they want stuff and some entity (Fedgov or State) to take care of them.
Next is Step 8. However, their are a shitload of armed citizens in this Nation that may be the exception to that philosophy. We'll see.
1. Physically visit our representatives in their offices and at their homes.
That might work.. I could always say I was giving them the baseball bat as a present.
2. Civil War.
I don’t like the sound of “civil” but I agree with the war part. This needs to be anything but civil and besides I believe 90% of the Military would be on our side.
Cool idea, but I don't think it takes that many - just one million would have an impact. However, the IRS would be out in force, but how many could they possibly audit and harass? The IRS really doesn't have that much man-power.
I'm thinking just one or two million taxpayers who say come and get me. The Fedgov does not have the resources to deal with such a tax revolt.
A massive Federal Income tax revolution would have an impact like no other political efforts. We need a leader and an organization. Without that, individuals will be devasted if they try alone.
>>Do we have any attorneys who can file some legal motions or TROs in federal court to ask the courts to review the Constitutionality of all these power grabs? I realize itd be a long shot, but there HAS to be SOMEONE with the proper credentials to file SOMETHING to get the courts to rule on the unConstitutionality of the Obama/Pelosi agenda....<<
No, they’re too busy trying to overturn - for the second time - the election results in CA (Prop 8). We will get as help from the legal “profession” as we do from the “free press”.
I agree that is time to stop being nice and maintain a high moral attitude. Look where it has gotten us! Civil disobedience is the next step - if we’ve got the guts. Then, there are other steps.

“Have you noticed how many of these buffoons in Congress keep telling us about how many jobs this bill is going to create?”
The only folk getting jobs are the former felons from the hood that are getting jobs with ACORN to conduct the census.
Congress and Senate found dead one day after some guy named Jackson dies.
I think the reason there are not more Constitutional challenges is because the outcome is uncertain. With the squirelly courts, a loss at the Supreme Court level makes it impossible to reverse— it becomes the law-of-the-land. At least when it is just a law, Congress can repeal it later. That won’t happen after something is decided by the Supreme Court because of their reliance on precedent.
I always thought that was why Reagan never challenged the law that made supporting the Contras illegal. Clearly the Constitution makes foreign policy the purview of the executive branch. Congress is given only the role of declaring war and approving treaties.
So the question becomes: which is better, to let it go and hope to over-turn it later, or challenge in court and make it permanent? Court would be the better option if you knew the decision would go your way...

Finding out where they live and visiting Acorn and their 200+ subsidiaries would be a good early step i think.
In the midst of what zer0 says is the worst economy since the great Depression, what better way to keep it from recovering than to pass a job killer bill to send jobs overseas? Oh, I know, it’s to invite illegals in to take what’s left of American’s jobs and to tax ‘em to high heaven with a health care tax.
Thanks, all of you useful idiots.
start saving up bail money! We need to startt putting our boots up some asses!
Secession in Texas.
I have already placed my state representative and Senator on notice to start the proceedings if the US Senate caves too.
