ECONOMY KILLER PASSES IN THE HOUSE!

Had enough? You and I, and all informed and concerned Patriots have spent countless hours on the phones and sending e-mails to our representatives, only for them to ignore us once again.

Now what are you going to do? Have more TEA PARTIES? That worked out great, didn't it? I appreciate your efforts; been there and done that when our Fedgov would still listen.

However, you are butting your heads up against the newly formed marxist Fedgov leviathan with signs and slogans, with nothing to back it up.

Once again, I say it is time for civil disobedience. THE only thing these corrupt self-serving totalitarian career politicians acknowledge is MASSIVE civil disobedience as in, Viet Nam war protests.

The next time you gather, it's time to annul (Websters: to make ineffective or inoperative) the totalitarian State that is exponentially growing by the week from the obambi,reid,pelosi socialist triad. Your Nation is slipping away while you conduct Parties and try to be the good guys. Maybe it's time for you to be the "assertive" guys.

The Republic is over, unless us Patriots are willing to give more. I am, and I have my SO's blessing to do so. I'm willing to go to jail for a day or two to make my point. Are you?

I see two steps beyond the tea parties.

1. Physically visit our representatives in their offices and at their homes.

2. Civil War.

Or, I guess there's always the option of bowing under the yoke, which 70+% of the population will certainly opt for.

The ursurpers are stating with their actions that they are prepared to take it to the next level, which makes 'parties' moot, IMHO, unless maybe they are 'tar and feather' parties.

Do we have any attorneys who can file some legal motions or TRO’s in federal court to ask the courts to review the Constitutionality of all these power grabs? I realize it’d be a long shot, but there HAS to be SOMEONE with the proper credentials to file SOMETHING to get the courts to rule on the unConstitutionality of the Obama/Pelosi agenda....

Have you noticed how many of these buffoons in Congress keep telling us about how many jobs this bill is going to create? They don’t say a damn thing about their precious environment or “global warming.” It’s all about stealing money from the consumers and using it to create “green” jobs for their liberal pals. What a bunch of Commie piggies.

"70+% of the population will certainly opt for. "

Your figure is off by 30 percent.

Its low.

But we shall demand the day off with pay, eat hot dogs and enjoy faux cannon fire, to honor those that would not stand for taxation with out representation.

Good news is that Fox ratings are up, Coulter will release a new book as will Oriielly, to keep us in line.

In line at the hot dog stand to honor those that...

I, too, awakened this morning dispirited, even begrudging for the first time ever the energy I put into trying to stop yesterday's assault (and on my day off to boot).

I applaud your call for civil disobedience. Being the pragmatist I am, however, I say we live to fight another day. This week, the senators are off. We need to prepare our letters, FAXES, and lists of telephone numbers in anticipation of their looking at the House bill. We need to keep Leader Boehner's chart and mockery of the bill high on YouTube and on Rush's and others' talk shows. My opinion is that the Senate won't pass it in its present form and may table it altogether in the face of public outcry.

If we cannot move the Senate, I'll join you in jail.

Regards . . . Penny

"2. Civil War."

WHATTTT????

How dare you!

You know the Senate will stand up to protect America when the chips are down.

No, wait a minute, I just realized, I'm off my meds.

Give me a ring when option 2 starts. I'm in.

Let us see how the stock market reacts to the passing of the bill on Monday. If it plunges, it will influence how the Senate votes. In the meantime, freepers keep refraining from consuming and keep saving your money. That will keep the pressure on the BHO admin and Dem Congress. If the economy refuses to pick up and create jobs, the Dems are toast in 2010 and hopefully in 2012. Be patient, do our part, vote with our consumer dollars and let the radical left Dems to the rest. Starting to see buyers remorse amongst te independents. First sign of big trouble for the Dems is the Xmas sales in 2009. In the meantime organize your family, friends, street and if possible town for the chaos to come as the huge debts can either lead to economic collapse or high inflation. Wash DC will be too far to help us, and everything will be resolved locally. Also keep an eye on California. First unrest will start there and probably will spark unrest in the Great Lake states. Unemployment, and the running out of unemployment benefits will create desperate people like we never seen since the Great Depression. Will US troops/police need to shoot unemployed and desperate Americans? If they do, then it will be tough for us to lecture Iran. Right now get a gun if you do not own one plus ammo for self defense, buy/stockpile enough food for one to four weeks in case of random shortages, buy precious metals to protect your wealth against inflation.

I think visiting them peacefully at their homes would be a start, rather than at some public gathering in DC or Fed buildings/areas. That has had no impact. DC has turned a blind eye to such protests, unless you can muster a couple hundred thousand.

"Civil War", no.

As far as "70+%" accepting the yoke, possibly. However, always remember that it was about 20% who fought against King George's tyranny in the Colonies.

There are those who will live their life for American Idol; there are those who live for Fedgov largess; there are those who live for anarchy.

And then there are those who simply want to be left alone to their own "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" which the Declaration of Independence declares as "endowed" by the Creator. Why are such ideals so hard for politicians to understand? Don't bother to answer, I know.

I hope Senator Inhoffe is right that this thing is doomed in the Senate, but I wouldn’t be so confident. Why would these congresspeople put their necks out and vote for it of it would die in the Senate? Look for alot of backroom deal-making when it goes to the Senate, so we need to be more intense than ever and keep up the pressure.

If we lose this battle in the Senate, I think it’s time to look seriously at secession. Unless we can keep these things tied up in courts with tons of lawsuits, but I don’t know if we have the legal people on our side to employ that kind of strategy. Without beating them back with court challenges, I don’t know what other choice we have.

I think Rush summed it up best yesterday when he said “for most people, the pursuit of happiness has switch to the pursuit of survival.”

I just read that North Korea is attacking Maui.

The US Navy is awaiting a carbon offset from a sardine cannery in Norway so that we may respond.

There is little doubt in my mind that the passage of the Cap and Trade bill gave the Chinese plenty of cause to smile as we achieved a milestone in our self destruction, not even a terrorist could hope to achieve. Why worry about foreign terrorists when we have home grown ones sitting right in Washington who couldn’t care less about the well being of this country. The sad part is that most people don’t even know or understand what Cap and Trade stands for, but they appear to be well informed about Michael Jackson, bless his heart and RIP. There are two things what come to my mind the first one are the predictions by Alexander Tyler a Scottish Hystory professor perhaps some of you are familiar with.

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.”

“A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.”

“From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.”

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years”

“During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. from bondage to spiritual faith;

2. from spiritual faith to great courage;

3. from courage to liberty;

4. from liberty to abundance;

5. from abundance to complacency;

6. from complacency to apathy;

7. from apathy to dependence;

8. From dependence back into bondage”

And I do believe that we are just about at stage seven. The other is a statement made by an ancient philosopher Plato what in so many word said “The punishment for not participating in politics is that you will be governed by your inferiors” Sad to say, but I believe it to be true and we have just about reached this point. I further do believe that only a calamity of biblical proportions which will shake this country up to its foundation may bring this once great country back on track.

"Do we have any attorneys who can file some legal motions or TRO’s in federal court to ask the courts to review the Constitutionality of all these power grabs?"

I've been advocating that for some time. I would love to see all perceived un-Constitutional legislation challenged. Apparently, no one wants to do it. Between the "commerce" clause (much abused) in the Constitution and the "welfare" clause in the Declaration of Independence (which has NO legal standing - it's simply a statement), no one tries.

INTENT has been long forgotten. There was much debate in the first Congress before the individual States signed on in 1787. There was also INTENT when some insisted on the original Bill of Rights and the meaning of said Amendments. However, they all believe in the "balance of power" to protect against totalitarianism.

It seems such has been lost to our current (3) branches of Federal government. The Presidency has long ago over-stepped it's powers (think FDR and more currently, Obama); the Congress has given up much of its power; the Judicial branch has become a legislator and looks outward to International law.

The sad irony is, the Founding Fathers called it Federalism.

You forgot one of the most important items: Federal Tax revenue.

Change your Federal withholding to 10. You will owe the Feds big bucks next April 15th.

If 100 million Americans did this AND filed their tax returns with no remittance, the revolution will have begun.

I applaud you. I'll see you there. Just make sure you don't fight the Cops...the handcuffs won't hurt if you don't resist, and remember, they are just doing their duty.

Being a protester from years back, I know that the Police actually LIKE conservative protesters. They would give us much leeway because we were respectful to them, unlike the liberal/anarchists who throw stuff at them during their civil disobedience.

Just sit down when they tell you to leave. And when they force you up, don't fight them...go with the flow. I will personally bail you out Dear Penny. I'll give you my personal e-mail on this very board. I've done it before...used to be known around here.
