Emergency Workers Felt Jackson Dead at Scene
TMZ ^ | June 26, 2009

Posted on 06/26/2009 1:11:44 PM PDT by Shermy

When EMTs arrived at Michael Jackson's home yesterday, the medics wanted to pronounce him dead on the scene -- but Michael's personal doctor refused to let them "call it" -- this according to sources close to the situation.

When EMTs arrived there was evidence someone had been performing CPR on Michael for "quite some time." There was evidence of Lidocaine -- an old-school drug that can be used to treat disturbances in the heart's rhythm. Medics took over performing CPR but determined Jackson was lifeless -- and wanted to call the coroner to pick up the body.

We're told Jackson was flat-lined when EMTs arrived.

But our sources say M.J.'s doc demanded EMTs continue performing CPR anyway, and demanded that they take Michael to the hospital.

Once they arrived at UCLA, we're told Jackson's doc continued to personally administer CPR -- even though it was clear Jackson was already gone.

I’d hate to be that physician, if he gave Jackson medication just prior to the onset of his illness, that lead to his death.

Dispatcher: 50? OK. He’s unconscious? He’s not breathing?

Caller: Yes, he’s not breathing, sir.

Dispatcher: OK, and he’s not not conscious either?

Uhhhhhhhhhh...

I read in another thread that the doctor gave him Demerol at 11:30 AM and an hour later he collapsed.

Dispatcher: OK, so did the doctor see what happened?

Caller: Um, doctor did you see what happened? (inaudible) He’s just, um, if you can please ...

Hey, Doc, can you say "license revocation and prison time"? I knew you could.

I guess if my meal ticket was flat-lining on the floor, after I’d injected him with narcotics... I’d go the extra mile to try and revive the dying drug addict, too.
But that’s just me... you know... thinking about the murder charges, and then having to find another stoolie to pay me to legally dispense drugs at his beck and call.

Possible clue:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article6585015.ece?token=null&offset=12&page=2

Jackson was said to have missed all but two or three of 45 rehearsals for the show but Patrick Woodroffe, a lighting engineer working at the LA arena, said that he had finally recovered some of his old magic in the past few days.

He told the BBC: “He came on stage at 9 o’clock in the evening and we all looked at each other and there was something that said that he really had it.

“Last night particularly, he came on stage and he was electric. It was like he had been holding back and suddenly he was performing as one had remembered him in the past.”

Perhaps he was in extra pain from that good, ie, strenuous, performance the night before.

And wanted an larger than usual dose of his daily demerol.

So, you don't go for the ol' "chronic back pain" trick?

I forgot to add what made me think this:

From TMZ—

A close member of Michael Jackson’s family has told us Jackson received a daily injection of a synthetic narcotic similar to morphine — Demerol — and yesterday he received a shot at 11:30 AM.

Family members are saying the dosage was “too much” and that’s what caused his death.

Story developing...

“Too much”

Places like Amazon are reporting that Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 albums, posters, videos, etc. are flying off the shelves and the marketers can’t keep up.

Which led me to realize that we could fix the economy if we could just kill off a major rock star about every two weeks. This week, Michael Jackson...two weeks later, Elton John...two weeks later, Paul McCartney...two weeks after that Mick Jagger, etc. Just imagine how reinvigorated our economy could be! Album sales would go through the roof.

He pulled an “Elvis”

Not unless MJ was on the toilet at the time. What a way to go.

His family are a pack of jackals. They will be looking for somebody to sue. Anyone know if his London concerts included the family as in the Jackson 5? They just lost their meal ticket. Jermaine and Michael were Muslims????

You think if the doctor was giving him IM narcotics that the MD would at least have an IV line and Narcan close by. It appears he needed Narcan more than he needed CPR.

“I wouldn’t have come withing 200 miles of this guy if I was a physician. No way...”

Someone who knows someone who knows told me these doctors can be no less star-struck/dumb than anyone else.

According to TMZ, this isn’t some shoddy Dr. Feel Good, but one specifically selected by...AEG, the producer of the show!

Stories I’ve heard on radio are that the UK outfit that was putting on the shows scheduled there insisted he have a doc with him at all times. Guess he (the doc) regularly administered whatever drug MJ wanted or needed.
