Its official. Flies now have a longer life-expectancy than the political viability of most 2012 GOP presidential contenders. At least the male contenders.
Two weeks after David Lettermans forced apology to Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska, and days after Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina teamed with Senator John Ensign of Nevada for admittance to the Adulterer/Hypocrite Hall of Shame, Palin is starting to appeal to more and more Republicans and Americans. As well she should.
Hillary Clinton certainly proved that the citizens of our nation are prepared to vote for a woman. Absent a questionable campaign strategy, she could be in the Oval Office right now -- or at 3 AM -- deciding how best to deal with Iran, the economy, and Joe Bidens curious mind. Regardless, there is no doubt that a woman will soon lead our nation and obviously, not a moment too soon.
Now, while the left, their handmaidens in the media, alleged feminists, and various late-night comics will flat out tell you that its over for Sarah Palin, I would beg to differ. Despite the most unprofessional, unethical, and unrelenting character assassination in modern U.S. political history, not only is she still standing tall, but still retains that it factor. She is very comfortable in her own skin, believes what she believes, and is not afraid to challenge the tenets of political correctness or speak-up for traditional values when needed. Attributes that tens of millions of Americans believe actually qualifies someone to be president.

Good point and I was also not impressed with how Hillary was treated by pigs like Chris Matthews.
Palin/Nugent 2012!
“...the reason I like Sarah is because she is real. I am so tired of the the surreal politicians and intellectuals who arent of the integrity to be fit to be dog catchers yet find such glee in tearing down a woman that epitomizes the best of America.”
Bingo, the Left is attempting to destroy her because they fear the real deal. It is true, she wasn’t fine tuned in her early interviews. But, now she is doing very well and has survived it. She is vetted, so to speak.
Every time I see a Libtard mock her, my support for her grows. BTW, be prepared for the worst attacks to come from the libtards in the GOP. Those attacks will be worse than the Dims attacks. Trust me on this...the Country Club set in the GOP despise her as much as the Leftists in the Dim Party do.
Already happening...
Look for two things:
The subtle "I am not really pushing any candidate but Palin is not smart enough/articulate enough/viable, etc. to get the nomination" Mittbot posts
Also look for the not so subtle "I hate Sarah she is a liberal/feminist/trailer trash yada, yada yada, Mitt is awesome/handsome/wonderful" Mittbot posts...
The only assumption I have made is that Governor Palin's support is based on celebrity appeal instead of her abilities and I base it on statements such as these.
"Isn't it time to try something different"
We are trying something different, have been for about 40 years and it isn't working. It is time to return to time tested methods that will lead us to Reagan's "Shining City on The Hill". We know it can be done, we know how to do it, the only thing lacking is the will and the stamina.
There are many things more pressing than the presidential election right now, it would be nice if more people on this forum would focus on them. When it is time to choose a new president, assuming I am still here, I will be very free with my opinion.I will then decide whom to support, it may be Governor Palin or it may be someone else.
If it happens to be someone with the looks and accomplishments of the two women below, it will be one of them.
You won’t see a Palin/Bachmann ticket. Or a Palin/Bolton ticket. Or a Palin/any-other-conservative ticket. While great for the primaries, the pairing of two conservatives would not work in the general election, where swing votes are essential for victory.
That’s why tickets are usually “balanced” geographically, philosophically, and any other way they can be balanced. That’s why Reagan had to settle for GHWB as his running mate. In the GOP Conservatives tend to pick moderates as their #2, and moderates tend to pick conservatives.
Gov. Palin, if she get the 2012 nomination, will choose a moderate to run with her. The only moderate that she has gone out on a limb for so far is Michael Steele, whom she virtually endorsed.

film editor...former rock band singer....pretty self absorbed married couple
i think he rjected moral culture in his upbringing a bit...Little Rock
it’s hard to figure...so many under 40s have been brainwashed by the culture
but he can’t support his opinions with specifics and just spouts the old tried and true platitudes or counters with extreme hypotheticals
like abortion....”what about rape or incest then?”
or guns....”everyone shouldn’t have an Uzi”
Islam...”well, what do you want to do kill them all?”
it’s all about “helping folks” and being blissfully ignorant and arrogant by thinking that shazaam he as a new age man is somehow morally superior to all that have come before him because he is enlightened about the poor and race in particular
these sorts are almost always not manly...how many liberals outside of Union thugs does anyone find that are manly?
Live Oaks and Magnolias are my favorite trees.
Being from south central Mississippi, when I hit moss hanging from the trees I know I’m home..
they can’t really explain it but it comes down to their disdain for Christian conservatismmas they percieve it and her and their support for abortion
and the funny thing is that these attacks have happened way to soon for the 2012 election....they will be boring and useless by 2010, and my guess is that if she can beat the corruption of elections today in America, she can win, BT...
But remember, we no longer have free and fair elections here...we have acorn regeristing aliens, (this earth and beyond)crooked polticians and corrupt electors and the full time misinsrty of media telling us that “nothing is wrong”....so it will be a tough fight to have anyone elected that the agency hasn’t approved.
I’ve noticed in Houston and S.E. Texas in general a gradual decrease in the amount of Spanish Moss. Houston used to be covered with it.
Don’t know if it’s pollution or what.
