White House press secretary Robert Gibbs stepped into a dunk tank at the White House Thursday and gave the press corps a chance to exact their revenge. AP reporter Ben Feller was the first to take Gibbs down.

I think I got that from the Glen Beck show - his source was an amazed leftie journalist I believe
Are we at a time in our country where skateboarding thru the White House, dunking a a press secretary (although I kinda wish I had been there, he makes my teeth itch), blackberries, swagga and cooool rule us?
I know the answer, but surely not every young person thinks this is a great thing. (like I said, I know the answer, it just depresses me.)
Would have been fun to watch them eat the snake that got dunked.
"Robert, if you agree to get dunked we'll give you a toaster. In fact, you can have the toaster right now. Just hold onto it real tight with both hands......"
A poster here wrote a huge comment about Jackie Kennedy and her lifestyle on a thread today. This person was in news media at some time and said every one knew about it. First I ever heard all the stuff he posted.
I’m about ready to vacate the threads, getting tired.
Awwwww!! The brains of the News Media...how enchanting!!
LOL....No wonder we have to go overseas for our news and information.
If he drowns, he's innocent of being a witch.
We will then begin the vampire tests on his corpse...
Take down of Mister We Won-get use to it, complete with luau at who’s expense? Inquiring minds want to know. That place and the people in it are covered in bad juju./Just Asking - seoul62......
The things I found interesting were
1. The blatant chumminess of reporters and the administration—it is an AP REPORTER who dunked Gibbs—they are so tight with the Administration. I can’t believe reporters are supposed to be partying it up (on a THURSDAY NITE NO LESS) with the group they should be OBJECTIVELY covering on Friday morning.
2. Bush would have been excoriated by the press for the levity of the event—a luau in the midst of 9 percent unemployment, Iran, North Korea etc. Just very inappropriate tone to those who have been affected like the auto industry.
Nero Fiddles while Rome Burns :(
The reporter who threw the dunking pitch is Ben Feller. Maybe, he is related to Bob.
Just a thought.
Exact their revenge???? For what? For not letting them be on top?
I swear I would immediately learn to hover
