Within minutes, six-year-old Rubjit Thindal went from happily chatting in the back seat of the car to collapsing and dying in her father's arms.

"If we had known it was so serious, we would have called 911,'' Kuldip Thindal, Rubjit's distraught mother, said in Punjabi yesterday. "She just had a stomach ache -- she wasn't even crying.''

Rubjit was pronounced dead at hospital barely 24 hours after showing signs of a fever. Later, doctors told her parents she had the H1N1 influenza virus. She is believed to be the youngest person in Canada with the virus to have died.

Please don’t worry about the cranks.

You are doing a public service here.

MSM is not reporting these things.

“Unlike a weather disaster, a pandemic should not shut down electricity, water, other utilities, the Internet, or phones.”

I’m not so sure about the local utilities. The flu will affect various regions at various times, with a 6 to 8 week window with maximum sickness rates. If you work with the local water utility, several of your coworkers may be sick and out with the flu. Several others may stay home for fear of getting the flu. Others will be staying home to care for children that are home because the schools are closed. And others may be home to care for family members that are sick.

I think the point that was being made was that while people need to stock up with food and supplies, it’s not going to be the same as when a hurricane or tornado hits and takes out utilities so that there’s suddenly no power.

I can see where utilities might be affected some due to short staff, but there should be at least warning.

Just read that masks should be NIOSH rated. N-95 or N-100.

You MUST take your vitamin D, also! It’s possibly the most important!

I just had the thought late last night...what if a majority of our U. S. truckers get sick, or die from H1N1? How will food, etc. be transported across the U. S.? I have a girl friend who told me she has everything stored for TWO YEARS.

I am way behind in things I need to get done, so please don't forget to PING me, okay? I have also been seriously researching HOMEOPATHY, CLICKand I suggest that you all look into it as well. BTW, Homeopathy saved the lives of many during 1918!

it will shut down more than food. it will put EVERYTHING to a standstill except the government who can self sustain.

It’s interesting thinking about what the ramifications could be if public and private sector services are hurt by lots of people getting sick.

It would affect almost every aspect of our lives in ways that we don’t think of. Think of all the things truckers haul, from gasoline to medical supplies and food.

The facade is falling apart here, Doctors are starting to speak out against the money led response to 'Swine Flu'.

Tamiflu: Harm Outweighs Benefits To Children

Did your friend’s husband have any side effects from Tamiflu ? Is he doing better ?

I have read personal accounts were people started feeling better ASAP after taking Tamiflu .

Would you allow your family & children to use Tamiflu again ?

If you had a friend whose children were in the high complication risk area would you think they should take Tamiflu or not ?

Hi DVDMom.

My friends hubby was the worst affected of all the people I know who've had Swine Flu, and although he still has remnants of symptoms, he has recovered okay, he DID have Tamiflu prescribed, and he took it for a week or so. He is a heavyish smoker (about 20 cigarettes a day), and he drinks beer every day too.
He said it also made him dizzy and disorientated, (knowing him, whether that was a symptom of beer or Tamiflu is anyones best guess!)
His symptoms were similar to everyone else's, with the exception that he had a much worse (deeper) cough. His Wife also took Tamiflu, and all 3 of her Boys (4,6,9 year olds).

My other friend had Tamiflu prescribed, but she didn't even collect the prescription, her GP told her that he was bound to give it her under Government legislation, but wouldn't have done otherwise. She had 2 days off work, and a further 2 days to recover, She's a non smoker, and neither her Hubby or her 2 Children caught the virus from her.

My household have all recovered, all of us having had the very same symptoms (in retrospect, I think we unwittingly had it first to be quite honest, and maybe passed it out), and have all recovered with rest and lots of vitamin C and fluids (we're a non smoking household).

I was at my doctors today to pick up a regular prescription, and it was empty in there, and I now don't know anyone suffering from it.

It certainly seems a minor virus for people without underlying medical problems, I think smokers who are unhealthy could be hit quite hard, and people who are immuno compromised for any reason should take care, but from my experiences, no more than ordinary flu, and that's what seems to be said by Doctors here, but suspiciously, not the Government!

I haven't noticed a quicker recovery from Tamiflu takers or not to be honest, all seem to have suffered for about 4 or 5 days with it, with the exception of my friends hubby, who suffered with a cough for about a week to 10 days.

Hope you're all okay over the pond.

THIS STORY is the real danger from Swine Flu and the pandemonium surrounding it.
There have been many cases of misdiagnoses already from the people employed in the Government Swine Flu call centre to hijack Doctors out of the process of healthcare.

A teenager was told to stay at home with Tamiflu by them, whilst in the process of having a Liver failure, and now this baby has died because of some call centre worker telling the parents the same thing, it's horrendous, and those pondlife in Westminster need taking to account for it.

One thing I would say DVDMom, and anyone else, if your Government sets up a similar facade of dealing with diagnosis of Swine Flu, ignore it and go see your family Doctor!

Yes, I know. I don’t know how come it took me as long as it did to realize how much we have to eat, drink, wear, CONSUME, that is hauled by truckers all over this Country. Yes, we do have other items that move by rail, for sure. Goodness!
