Using foreign troops makes it easier for me....
That's why I like my M1 carbine...perhaps no other weapon has culled a similar number of the enemies of liberty.
Not only was it used against the Japanese and Germans in WWII, North Koreans and Chinese during Korea, but it was also popular with the French Foreign Legion in North Africa and Indochina, the nascent IDF in the early days of Israeli statehood, and used by US Forces and S. Vietnamese forces in Vietnam long after the Garand had been replaced by the M14 and later M16.
Pick it up and it smells of Hoppes #9 and freedom ;-)
The shortage in ammo is for a reason. (not counting the ammo stocked up over the past 10 years.)
