Even Bill O’Reilly (who has been pretty cold-blooded about the murder of Dr. George Tiller) seems a little taken aback when Ann Coulter says, “I don’t think of it as a murder ... I am personally opposed to shooting abortionists, but I don’t believe in imposing my morality on others.”
And: “If you don’t believe in shooting abortionists, don’t shoot an abortionist.” And: “That’s why liberals are so hysterical about this, because generally they’re on the pro-death side ... in this one case, they’re finally against someone dying, a man responsible for killing 60,000 babies.”

The world is upside down when bozo’s can’t see that a guy who kills 60,000 humans is no more worthy than Hitler. The problem is, what Tiller did had the full faith and blessing of the United States government.
Coulter is playing them, though. We should never resort to murder because we are a nation of laws, but at what point does the government become so unjust that we have to stand for the truth? Do we wait until they come for us?
My immediate response is like all the previous replies; you must be a particularly self-satified dullard.

If the bald, fat 65 year old was in demand as much as Ann, with the same number of best selling Conservative books as Ann, he would be quoted on Free Republic on a regular basis.
I admire Ann for her intelligent wit. She knows the enemy, and she is capable of shining the light on their idiocy with every word she utters.
Just to be clear, when I was attending CPAC three years ago, Ann was taken off the Speakers List because of her comments about the Silk Pony the year before.
When I questioned David Keene's Assistant about the snub, the Assistant told me it was because Ann called the Silk Pony a Faggot and it caused CPAC bad press. I told the woman that Ann did no such thing. The Assistant, a nice Conservative Lady, did not have a clue when it came to Ann's Sarcastic Wit and the associated Irony.
I think we are facing the same type of situation here.
I call it murder. The murderer probably didn’t want to be punished by an abortionist.
I tried to reply at LGF, but, I guess my inactivity (since the election) prohibits me. I SO wanted to get banned. LGF,Charles and his minions have done an about-face. I love how the left thinks it is OK to kill 3,000,000 babies per year, but get their panties in a wad if a terrorist has water poured in his face. I wanted the honor of being banned. I shall set my sights on being banned from more worthy sites !

She makes a good point, and as usual, it has a sting to it.
Yet, some people read her comments and think that she is condoning Tiller’s murder. She is just contrasting the liberals’ horror at his murder with the total lack of emotion concerning all of those aborted babies.
The libs get more upset about the death of baby seals than they do baby humans.

WHAT? So people that agree (or recognize humor and sarcasm)with Ann Coulter only agree with her because she isnt fat, bald and 65? I can name plenty of older, balder, and fatter conservative thinkers that use humor, sharp wit and sarcasm in promoting conservative ideas. If you want to publicly agree with patrick1 that Ann Coulter is an idiot, then by all means feel free to embarrass yourself, but dont stoop so low as to say "these folks" here only recognize humor and sarcasm from from people that are not fat, bald and 65.

LGF and Charles Johnson are less than useless appendages to the conservative movement. Sorry to see his drivel posted here. I wish he would go climb back into whatever liberal ideology hatched him and stop pretending to be on our side.

Actually I think it was pretty funny.
It was a good take off on the “Don’t legislate morality” and “If you don’t like abortion, don’t have one” sound bites.
Personally, I’m with her. I wouldn’t shoot an abortionist and, if on a jury, I’d send an abortionist’s murderer to jail, but, other than praying for his soul, I won’t miss Dr. Tiller, and I’m glad to him gone.
It is Ann's style and it is also 'gallows humor'. The absurdity of the left's argument for abortion is such that the only way to illustrate their hypocrisy is to use this humor.
The humor is shedding light on their position. Not abortion per say.
It really doesn't work to say, "Abortion is a tragedy." The left says, "I know (concerned look on face) but it is also a tragedy......"
Liberals position makes me sick. Ann's 'joke' makes the left look sick.
