Let’s hope the pilot is found OK.These guys undergo extensive survival training, don’t they? I assume they do.
Prayers up for the pilot!
Yes.
Hoping the pilot ejected and will be found safe.
Hope He’s Ok. They should be able to find him fast in their own backyard.
Hope he ejected safely.
In agreement.
Prayers for the pilot.
F-16 Ping.
Dang — prayers for the pilot and for his family and hoping they find him soon and in good shape.
That and his seat-pac ELT should be yowling its electronic head off - so to speak....
Most of Tooele COunty is as flat as a pancake, tho it does have a large mountian range.
Prayers that he is found safe and whole. Maybe he stopped for dinner at Tops Country Cafe in Dugway?
BTW - the area is teeming (over-run?) with so called mormon crickets - this may be slowing down the search...on the road, it’s like driving on squishy ice.
Prayers up!
Lord Jesus, let him be found safe and unharmed. Comfort his family during this time of uncertainty. Asked in your Blessed Name, Lord. Amen

The fly-boys always get the neat toys.
Wow, that is toooooo cool. Thanks for posting.
The Anchorage Airport has a set of hoovercraft for winter ice rescues.
I spent a summer TDY just south of Dugway running tests for the USAF - fell in love with the area. The Intermountain West (AKA Great Basin) offers so much - hunting, fishing, boating and so on.
Alaska OTOH is cooler, got to where I literally got sick in the heat...
I talked to a close relative in the 388th about 4 hours ago.
He said he was too busy to talk just then and will call me back when he had a chance. Waiting.
The pilot is deceased. He was a member of the 421st FS.
RIP.
One of my classmates died after a mid-air collision back in 1976... it's still hard to believe he died so young. Hopefully this pilot will make it out OK.
Sad news. RIP.
