“Wow, things would be different if the protesters had the constitutional right to bear arms to fight back against the Iranian Guard? I hadn’t thought of that. Then again, it wouldn’t really be a non-violent protest, would it Mr. Rubio, if the non-violent protesters were walking around with guns?”
Well, noooooooooooo, Chrissy...it would not be called non-violent, it would be called “OVER”...you dope...

He loves the concept of non-violent protests, doesn't he? Someone should remind Matthews that Gandhi advised the Jews of Warsaw to march out and go to the extermination camps non-violently.

Pathetic excuse for a man. Really, he has no moral fiber of conscience except what it takes to promote his own career.

I wonder if that young lady’s father appreciated the non-violence as he watched his daugher die.

Does MSNBC hire freakish commentators on purpose?
It’s a lineup of snarky bedwetters.

Anyone who wants to see what people with guns can do against an armed modern military force watch Blackhawk Down
To: ClearCase_guy
Someone should remind Matthews that Gandhi advised the Jews of Warsaw to march out and go to the extermination camps non-violently. For which Martin Buber properly rebuked him. Gandhi was extremely fortunate to be a British subject. When your adversaries are totalitarian mass murderers, nonviolence is not the smartest policy.

I saw someone post a note on twitter regarding Neda’s death. He said, “A camera is the new gun. The Internet is the new ammo.”
Which, I believe, is a total promotion of martyrdom. A pic on the Internet does no good, no good at all unless those _with_ guns are moved to action.

If Matthews had his way, the USA would never have fought the British.

Yes you are so right about Black Hawk down....of course, the same people who claim armed citizens could never defeat a major modern military are the same people whose jaws drop when I remind them it already happened....it was called the American Revolution!
