Take Two Aspirin And Call Obama In The Morning If Your Tumor’s Not Gone

Drugs instead of surgery. One MRI instead of three. That was the frightening foreshadowing of health care rationing that a senior Obama administration official offered on GMA today.

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was part of a troika of Obama officials discussing the prez’s health care plan with Diane Sawyer. Sebelius of course depicted the rationing not as a reduction in health care services, but as the provision of smarter, better services. You can believe it if you want.

Communists.

BTW, did the networks DECRY Obama “being in bed” with the big pharmaceutical companies, since he and fellow socialist Max Baucus “worked out a deal” with them?

WHY would anyone let politicians decide you don’t really need that MRI?

She looks terrible. Still mourning the death of her close 3rd trimester abortionist friend and political donor?

It won't be a politician. At least with a politician you have a name and a face. Approval for whether or not you need that MRI will come from a nameless, faceless bureaucrat permanently ensconced within the bowels of the Federal Government.

The same caliber of people as those now running the TSA screenings at airports, will be behind phones, anonymous, telling your doctor and insurer what medical treament obama thinks you should - and should not- have.

“You better not argue with me, you fish eyed fool. Do you know who I AM?”???

obamacare- delivered with the compassion of the IRS and the efficiency of the US postal service.

“She looks terrible. Still mourning the death of her close 3rd trimester abortionist friend and political donor?”

Actually, the timing couldn’t be better for her. She’s hit the big time now, and no longer needs his money. Now, magically, all the investigations, indictments, potential for trial, investigation into his finances, etc. has gone away. Presto...Kathleen’s clean as a whistle.

BTW, somewhere, there must be a sick joke with her MRI discussion...since Tiller ‘pioneered’ the use of MRI during his ‘procedures’.

Yes, Tiller was happy to have MRI so he could locate the beating heart of the baby in womb to inject poison. Nasty stuff when it was injected into the mother, instead. Lethal, sometimes. How many gubmint MRI’S did we taxpayers subsidize to kill babies?

As governor of KS, Sibelius saw nothing wrong in Dr. Tiller’s murder of nine-month old “fetuses” for the convenience of the mother. She will not see anything wrong with severely rationing health care to the elderly sick, who will inconvenience the government with medical expenses in their last years. The sooner they die, the better it will be for the Social Security system as well, so the government will have a win-win situation.
The government big enough to give you everything is big enough to take everything you have, to paraphrase Ronald Reagan.

Yes I agree faceless civil service will control the rationing, but the imbeciles selling this ridiculous plan are politicians.

I’ve heard idiot liberals for years - none of them in the health care field of course - go on about how unnecessary all these MRI’s are. Why, it’s just ridiculous to have one in every hospital!

Now they’ve decided all that knnee and back surgery is a waste, along with antibiotic use.

They are absolute damgerous idiots.

Sebelius of course depicted the rationing not as a reduction in health care services, but as the provision of smarter, better services.

Because the liberals who will run the program know so much more about providing health care than the doctors who have been doing it for a living. Those doctors obviously are prescribing too many tests, and needlessly operating when they could just give you a drug.

Except that the drug companies are needlessly creating new drugs and charging exhorbitant fees for them, when they could be producing cheap generic drugs.

I'm waiting for some stupid liberal congressman to claim that we'd save a lot of money if all the drug companies would just make their drugs "generically", since it costs so much less.

Have they mentioned that research will virtually stop? So advances that might provide good alternatives to surgery will not be go forward. Who will want to be a doctor under these circumstances?

Since leftists tend to gravitate towards “the public sector”, you can be assured that they will infest the committees that ultimately will make the decisions regarding whether you and your family get treatment.

Care to speak out against them once they get this power?

Now you see the purpose of “single payer”...
