The Free Republic National Tea Party Convention will be held on September 11 - 13, 2009 at:

Rooms can be reserved for our negotiated convention rate of $116/night for single or double occupancy. The discounted group rate is available for convention attendees anytime during the period of September 7 through September 14.

Convention Admission
For each admission ticket you wish to purchase, you must enter a real name. You may also include a screen name or nick name that you would like to have printed on your name tag and your home state. Picture IDs will be required of adults at check-in.
The price of admission is $175 per person. The admission price is for the convention only. It does not include lodging. See info regarding room rates at the Sheraton.
Tickets are available through Free Republic’s Secure Server – Credit Cards or Pay Pal accepted. https://secure.freerepublic.com/tickets/
Persons under 21 years of age will not be served alcoholic beverages. Persons under age 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tickets are non-refundable.
For each convention ticket please have the following information available:
First and Last Name
Freeper Nickname – or other name you would like printed on your name tag
Home State
E-mail Address of Contact
Payment will be accepted by Credit Card or Pay Pal

Looking for anyone wanting to carpool from CA to DC (the whole enchilada or segments thereof)... let me know.
Okay, a new thread, this would be a good time to hit the ping list.
I will be making a straight shot up I-95 from Florence, SC on the morning of 9-11, returning on 9-13. I will have room in my van if any SC/NC/VA Freepers want to catch a ride.
OUR FREE REPUBLIC T-SHIRT DRAWING IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN!
We now have nine FReepers who had booked a room at the Sheraton and have now purchased their Convention tickets! WE JUST NEED ONE MORE FREEPER to get their ticket and enter the drawing!

I hope I’m not being out of line here but ( and this Tea Party is a good idea ) but shouldn’t we ALL be down in DC ready to raise holy hell and get the country back form the Marxist ? This sound more like a family vacation weekend.
I see Obama taking this country apart at blinding speed.
Sorry , I guess I guess I see a Tea Party as more of what the original one was.

We will all be attending the giant Tea Party on the Mall on Saturday.
I’m also planning to join the DC Chapter at their Friday Night Rally at Walter Reed.
I hope that we can have fun and also raise “Holy Hell”. It is time to let our elected officials know that we want our country back!
If you can’t attend the convention, I hope you will join the National Tea Party on Saturday.
I hope to see him when he stops in Canton, Ohio.
