I will be making a straight shot up I-95 from Florence, SC on the morning of 9-11, returning on 9-13. I will have room in my van if any SC/NC/VA Freepers want to catch a ride.

Before you drive to DC, know you should be able to get plane tickets for $300. I've done it for close to $200 before.

You might want to look into flying. Reno to wash dc is about $300 round trip. Takes 8 hours.

I would love to be there and I am considering flying out for the DC gathering. Unfortunately I am not sure people from the California Tea Parties will be welcome at the FR Convention.
