Free Republic’s National Tea Party Convention Admission Form

The Free Republic National Tea Party Convention will be held on September 11 - 13, 2009 at:

Arlington, VA 22204
Rooms can be reserved for our negotiated convention rate of $116/night for single or double occupancy. The discounted group rate is available for convention attendees anytime during the period of September 7 through September 14.

Convention Admission
For each admission ticket you wish to purchase, you must enter a real name. You may also include a screen name or nick name that you would like to have printed on your name tag and your home state. Picture IDs will be required of adults at check-in.
The price of admission is $175 per person. The admission price is for the convention only. It does not include lodging. See info regarding room rates at the Sheraton.
Tickets are available through Free Republic’s Secure Server – Credit Cards or Pay Pal accepted. https://secure.freerepublic.com/tickets/
Persons under 21 years of age will not be served alcoholic beverages. Persons under age 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tickets are non-refundable.
For each convention ticket please have the following information available:
First and Last Name
Freeper Nickname – or other name you would like printed on your name tag
Home State
E-mail Address of Contact
Payment will be accepted by Credit Card or Pay Pal

I move that the contest be closed, and that I be declared the Supreme Winner!
And you just might be the Supreme Winner if many of those Freepers I pinged don't get a move on and buy their Convention tickets! I have decided the drawing cut will be Sunday evening at midnight! That means only those who purchase their Convention tickets by midnight Sunday will be in the drawing!
Now, that might not make you the “Supreme Winner”, Mike. But looks like it will increase your odds of winning that Free Republic T-shirt! :)
I am really sorry but I just can’t afford the airfare,hotel and the $175 for the convention......I have to cut it somewhere. I can’t do anything about the airfare and hotel so I guess it will have to be the convention....damn
Airfare? From SC? My daughter and I are driving up on 9-ll and returning on 9-13. If you can get as far north as Florence I have room in the van.
Don’t give up. Perhaps something will come up and you will see a way to do the Convention too. There is still lots of time between now and September. :)

That is a great idea, Amy! There are Freepers already getting together on their State Free Republic forums to do exactly that! To see if they might get to travel together and share expenses. I know a caravan from Florida is being planned and Freepers will be traveling together and some will be sharing a room. Check on your state FR Forum, Estrogen! :)

Thanks for your kind offer of a ride, but I already have my tickets going up on the 10th and leaving on 13th... I think I will find a way to go to the convention come hell or high water......working on it.
I’m also not real keen on sharing a room, I like my privacy..lol
