The Free Republic National Tea Party Convention will be held on September 11 - 13, 2009 at:

Rooms can be reserved for our negotiated convention rate of $116/night for single or double occupancy. The discounted group rate is available for convention attendees anytime during the period of September 7 through September 14.

Convention Admission
For each admission ticket you wish to purchase, you must enter a real name. You may also include a screen name or nick name that you would like to have printed on your name tag and your home state. Picture IDs will be required of adults at check-in.
The price of admission is $175 per person. The admission price is for the convention only. It does not include lodging. See info regarding room rates at the Sheraton.
Tickets are available through Free Republic’s Secure Server – Credit Cards or Pay Pal accepted. https://secure.freerepublic.com/tickets/
Persons under 21 years of age will not be served alcoholic beverages. Persons under age 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tickets are non-refundable.
For each convention ticket please have the following information available:
First and Last Name
Freeper Nickname – or other name you would like printed on your name tag
Home State
E-mail Address of Contact
Payment will be accepted by Credit Card or Pay Pal

Just wanted you to know that plans are in the works for having a live stream here on FR during the event weekend in September. If all works out and the live stream becomes a reality, Freepers who can’t make it to DC will get to see at least some of the action! :)

It’s great that FReepers have our own thing going on but if we really want to take off, we have to appeal to general public, especially those who are unemployed. We have to appeal to them and get us join in the streets of DC and protesint.
Ooooooooooo If things look up here I might be able to go! Please say a prayer or two for long term software contract for us! It will make a WORLD of difference!

There are many groups who have joined together and are planning to be in on all the Tea Party events that will take place in DC. Over a million people are expected to be in Washington DC in September to defend our Constitution and our freedoms!
Keeping fingers crossed that things work our perfectly for you and yours to make it to DC for our National Free Republic Tea Party Convention! It is going to be an event NOT TO MISS!

There are links at the beginning post of this thread, and many Freepers and folks from other grassroots groups will be attending various Tea Party rally events that will be going on in DC.

Thank you for the links. We need to be more bold. We can't be just casual because we would miss the point. Let take it up to the next level so even mainstream media can't just put us on A56. Let's take a cue from the current protests in Iran.
