The Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead announced in Annapolis recently that "diversity is the number one priority" at the Naval Academy.
Advertisement The Naval Academy superintendent, Vice Adm. Jeffrey Fowler, echoed him. Everyone understands that "diversity" here means nonwhite skins.
Fowler insisted recently that we needed to have Annapolis graduates who "looked like" the Fleet, where enlisted people are about 42 percent nonwhite, largely African American and Hispanic.
The stunning revelation last week was that the Naval Academy had an incoming class that was "more diverse" than ever before: 35 percent minority.

You never hear the race-mongers talk of diversity when it comes to pro sports when many are there based on ability - not a quoata.
Who wants to support a dumbed-down team?
The cost is DEATH for the poor boys who have to depend upon their buddy being there due to his skin color rather than his ability to shoot.
As far as I know, anybody can claim to be anything they want. Like you said, what are they going to do, give you a blood test, seek out your mitochrondrial DNA? Claiming to be a minority is obviously the short cut to admission, especially if you already have the required scores and grades.
That may be a dumb question.....Sort of like: "Does the sun rise in the east?"
My sophomore-year college roommate became a Secret Service agent. She resigned a few months ago. The Secret Service being ordered to harass non-violent anti-Obama activists was the last straw for her.

Too bad for Fowler. He'll be passed over for a more "DIVERSE" candidate.
I presume Rickover was Jewish, and his wife was not, or there was a conversion somewhere, but I really don’t know the family details, and I don’t want to ask in-laws for the purposes of public disimination.
Mrs. Jewbacca’s family (many of whom are “Rikover” or some variation thereof) are Jewish, so I would presume he was Jewish.
