While meaningless United Nations hand-wringing over the North Korean nuclear weapons program garnered the headlines, the world body is moving ahead with a global conference to lay the groundwork for world government financed by global taxes. The communist head of the U.N. General Assembly is leading the effort, but he is getting crucial support from "progressive" economists who advise the Obama Administration and the Democratic Party.
The United Nations Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis and Its Impact on Development, previously scheduled for June 1-3, will now take place on June 24-26.
U.N. General Assembly President Miguel D'Escoto is the U.N. point man on these "global governance" issues. We noted his role at the United Nations in a column last October. Now, even the New York Times is paying attention to what this crackpot has been up to.
D'Escoto, the Times said, believes the way out of the global financial crisis "should be lined with all manner of new global institutions, authorities and advisory boards," including the Global Stimulus Fund, the Global Public Goods Authority, the Global Tax Authority, the Global Financial Products Safety Commission, the Global Financial Regulatory Authority, the Global Competition Authority, the Global Council of Financial and Economic Advisers, the Global Economic Coordination Council, and the World Monetary Board.

Yeah, I wonder how many "bullets" the "clip" holds
Over 18,000,000 citizens participate in deer season annually.
Think about that.
18 million people who every year actively practice live-fire live-target exercises independently or in small anonymous groups with sniper rifles, cammo, comms, and transport all self-acquired and self-maintained, and with only the slightest courtesy of notification to the government. A significant fraction of them have enough extra gear to equally equip 1-10 additional people.
...and that’s just active deer hunters, not including other hunting, sports, state/national guard, defense, and inactive wannabees.
Who do these fools think they are?
Do they actually believe I would work harder to make more money for a ‘global tax’?
Would 25% do something? Doubtful. Maybe 10% call it 1.8 million would be willing to lose their families, homes and lives. Add in another million non-hunters, they’re still out numbered by trained LEO and feds. Better plan on fighting this at the ballot box.

If you’re going to say only 10% will particiapte (a fair guess), apply a similar figure to the agents/LEOs (are they that equipped/prepared/trained? what side will they choose? are they that devoted to upholding oppression? do they see opposition as enemies/criminals, or friends/family/citizens? who wins in virtually unfired revolver vs. well-practiced .308?)

obams is still getting his ducks lined up. This may take months or it may take years. But, rest assured that the second he gets his ducks in a row, he will strike.

I would bet more than one beer that a lot of the "trained LEO" group would mess their pants and go home if they encountered determined and competent resistance.

Varmint hunters and IBSC shooters are the ones to look out for. There’s a saying in varmint hunting circles which says, “The only difference between a varmint hunter and a sniper is the target.”
What we’re witnessing is either a bump in the road which will as always be worked out by brute force, or it’s straight from Revelation 17:17...and at this point I’m honestly not sure which it is!
