You can't be loved and adored by everybody, but if you're President Barack Obama and it concerns the media, you can come awfully close.
In an interview on CNBC's June 16 "Closing Bell" with the network Washington correspondent John Harwood, Obama reflected on the media coverage he has received to date. Harwood asked the president to respond to the claim that lack of media criticism has allowed him to "hurt" the country.
"When you and I spoke in January, you said, I observed that you haven't gotten much bad press," Harwood said. "You said, ‘It's coming.' Media critics would say not only has it not come, but that you've gotten such favorable press either because of bias or because you're good box office that it's hurting the country because you're not sufficiently being held accountable for your policies. Assess that."

This is exactly what I mean. They may lead in with stories about Obama, but they barely even scratch the surface of the ramifications behind the issues of Obama’s policies, and you’re right- it’s out of fear I beleive that they treat him with kid gloves- Fox news has become a sell out news station just like hte rest- and obama can’t take them ‘criticising’ him as softly as they do?
The American public would freak out if Fox news zero’d in on all the corrupt, campaign promise breaking, sneaky, underhanded things this administrationm is really doing, but we’ll never know hte full extent, because Fox news reporters only want headlines, not hte meat of hte story behind hte story. We’re drinking watered down milk these days thanks to sell outs liek Fox news. At least Rush limbaugh so far is reporting the actual facts, but I suspect even he will sell out soon enough- especially since Obama whines about him too
Fox News is only reporting the news. It only seems like an attack because the other networks refuse to report the news.

Ya gotta know that the Apocalypse is near, when the majorty of reader comments on the HuffingtonPost blog are hammering the Hell out of Obama. You may never see this again, so it would be worth your while to see it for yourself.
The minority view supports Obama regardless of what he does, and their flimsy, petty excuses underscores just how far they are off in their own little world.

Bingo- that’s it exactly! He made his itnentions very clear the day he told the gop ‘don’t forget who was elected’-
As for Charles Krauthammer- I’m not too thrilled with him either- He is more right wing than the others of course, and delves a little more into hte meat of hte issues, but I think he too has been tiptoeing around our president Mr. Capone. And Charles’ comments/insults about intelligen\t design really turned me off too- His disdain for Creationists and ID showed an ‘intellectual snobbery’ typical of hte left wing elitists, and his explanations against ID were very shallow and lacked intelligent understanding of hte issue quite frankly.
He’s laso made soem comments about hte Jews that I thoguht were typical of left wingers disdain for Jews in general which is odd- but hten again, American Jews seem to embrace liberalism, and speak out against hteir homeland for some unknown reason- I think it’s a mentality of ‘keeping hteir enemies close’ kind of thinking- but I’m not sure- I couldn;’t understand why Charles said what he did abotu hte Jews.
He’s smart- no doubt, but listen carefulyl to some of his comments, they sometimes smack of liberalism if you listen carefully

I think it was entitled ‘the audacity of hope’ in which Obama whined about perceived ‘racism’ (while indulging in reverse racism throughout hte whole book), and in which we have hte blueprint for a presidency that will do and say just about anything to get elected and to do whatever he wants regardless of whether or not it breaks the law.
I basically agree with your views, too, and I can't defend him against the views that really bother you.
I admire Charles' intellect. It is tempered a little bit by the fact that he is proud. Even though he is wise to pick his fights carefully he seems to enjoy letting you know that he is choosing not to fight a particular fight. I just attribute that to Charles being Charles.
Personally, I have a tendency to take *everybody's* opinion with a grain of salt, even mine! :0)
They will all inevitably keep losing market share and money. But not to worry. They realize that all they need to do is ask Pres__ent 0 for a bailout. He'll just pump whatever taxpayer money that's necessary in, and take control, just like with banks, automakers, health care, etc., etc. The DBM won't mind. Most of them will get to keep their jobs, and the slanted pro-Messiah content will need to change hardly at all.
I wouldn't be surprised in the least if this is the ultimate endgame with the lot of them. A whole bunch of little Pravdas, sucking on the federal teat and subsidized by us, the productive. Just like NPR, only a hundred times more harmful to the country. Great deal for them, though, while it lasts.
