In today's technological age, it might seem silly for intelligent people to consider a spiritual world where beings we cannot see might exist. Oh it's fine to read books and watch Hollywood movies about the afterlife and spirits that roam the netherworld but that's all make believe, not the real world. In the real world we are taught that reality consists of what we can touch, taste, see, hear, smell, and that the spirit world is for those weak minded individuals who use religion as a crutch to get through the day. But what if I told you that scientists have concluded that there is a strong possibility that a parallel universe really does exist? Now, as a Christian I do not need proof that a spirit world exists, but it is my belief that God wants us to do our utmost to understand what it is He has Created. That being said, the Spirit World is an aspect of God's Creation that we can only speculate upon just as Rene Descartes, the father of modern day philosophy did. Descartes admitted that God was the Creator of the world, but he believed that the spiritual world existed solely in the minds of men. So I guess the question would be, does a parallel spirit world exist, or is it just a figment of our fertile imaginations?
I would suggest that in order to properly answer that question, we need to first realize that God gave us a mind and the ability to think on a level with Him, if only we allow ourselves to put the silly notions of men aside. One silly notion is that reality

Good basic advice, imho.
I’ve looked at Bill Sommer’s ETPV site many times. It’s one of the ones now filled with “prophetic” abstraction prattling about “moves” and “shifts” to which I alluded. It strikes me as regurgitation of thematic words and concepts from some teaching I do not know, with little apparent Biblical grounding. There are a few I pay attention to, nearly all from outside the US. That Beadsworth woman has a surprising ability to find vision in the everyday and relate it to scripture. Several from the continent of Africa have been striking and I’ve taken note. The rest seem caught up in something I’ve not yet been able to understand.
One of the best summaries I’ve ever read on such.
Thanks.
There was a woman in Cebu who also seemed good but she’s been silent for some time, it seems to me.
Please ping me to any of the more reliable sounding you think worth a read . . . and please post on some prophetic thread if you’re willing to bother.
I don’t think there’s much good prophetic mentoring going on . . . .
folks may have an authentic anointing or gifting or even office . . .
and just wander around clumsily making many errors distinguishing from Holy Spirit; the noise on their religious social network and the taco they ate’s grumblings in their gut.
Others may have emotional or ego needs and no gifting whatsoever.
I do not believe there is a spirit world as in boo!
I do believe we are somehow connected as humans all on the same trip throughout the ages...I really feel this at times...strongly
and that God sent his son here to show us something that so many forget or twist to their own ends...plus he gave us some playbooks in the Old Covenat we conveniently forget too...never more so than right now in my lifetime
none of this is random happenchance
but I just don't see souls as spirits living around us
I see Good and evil and I believe both are manifested beyond just emotion
I know folks I trust who have seen ghosts and angels....the latter often when death is pending even if they don't know it.
I had an old cop come in my warehouse office for several days telling me about seeing benevolent child images above his bed at night glowing waking him up with very pleasant music...made him feel very happy but he didn't know what to make of it. Less than a week later he was dead in his sleep from a massive brain aneurysm.
Hard to say really isn't it?...what surrounds us
The Spirit World exists, independent of belief or detection by any person.
One saying we Latter-day Saints use is: You are not a mortal being having a spiritual experience; you are a spiritual being having a mortal exprience.
You seem to be "sensitive". You might want to try meditation to heighten those senses. I think one day those special talents may become very important for humanity.
To be intellectually honest, Edgar Cayce did not convey the theology of a devout Christian. A Pantheist who believed in reincarnation, channeling, and that Christ was a brotherof Lucifer who became Satan.
He is also known to have called upon spirits who used Cayce’s vocal chords to communicate and in several instances denied many central tenets of Christ from Biblical Christianity.
It is far more likely that Edgar Cayce was deceived by deceiving spirits and practiced the doctrine of demons, instead of returning to God through faith alone in Christ alone.

INDEED! YOU ARE SOOOOOO RIGHT about Cayce. And, satan has made lots of progress in his work by mixing half truths, lies, bits of truth all together in a horridly seductive and destructive mix. I think Cayce may also be an example of that in parts.
You are correct about Cayce.
Shortly after my father died, my wife was walking our then 6yo daughter to school and she swears she saw him standing across the street watching them. She looked briefly at our daughter, then back across, but he was gone, and she never saw him again. She’s not given to superstition so I think she saw “something”.
“If I knew God I’d be Him.” That still stands.
On Thursday, I was at my parents house alone, trying to clear up a problem on their computer. No TVs or radios were on and it was a quiet house, save for my typing.
I heard a voice in one of the other rooms say “come in here honey.” It was a female voice as far as I could determine.
It was like it was a voice speaking through a radio or something. It was “staticky” for want of a better term.
There was no one else in the house because I checked.
What do you make of that?
BTTT for later
