Olbermann: Palin's a 'Delusional Lunatic', Letterman's 'The Victim'

Countdown" host Keith Olbermann Friday evening accused Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin of using her daughters, as well as the brouhaha surrounding jokes made about them by "Late Show" host David Letterman, to further her political career.

In a twelve minute segment about the former vice presidential candidate, Olbermann called her, "Sanctimonious, holier than thou, exploitative, undignified, pedantic, childish, self-inflicting, insipid, backwards, embarrassing, over-reactive, overreaching" as well as a "delusional lunatic."

Potentially even more disgraceful, in Olbermann's almost unimaginably perverted view, Letterman is actually "the victim" who has "continued to take the high road" in this sordid affair.

This AM, I was listening to our local conservative talk show and was (again) amazed at how many Libs called in to warn US that Palin would “go down in flames”, would “fail miserably”, would “embarrass the GOP” if she was our candidate in 2012.

Please. If they believed that, they would keep their mouths shut. The fact that they can not keep from “warning US” over and over again proves that they know she would kick The One to the curb...

Prima facie evidence of his pompous exaggeration, none of his attacks fit Sarah Palin. Olbermann is worthless as a commentator. He is like a hockey goon on a team that lost its star player, leaving him nothing to do except run around flailing at everyone on the other team, without meaning nor advancement, and never winning the game.

Going to Thursday's Cable News Ratings from Nielsen Media Research at Media Bistro we see Olbermann a distant THIRD behind O'Reilly and Nancy Grace.

Imagine, considering yourself to be the reincarnation of Edward R. Murrow, and you consistently SHOW behind Grace on HLN, doing the 300th show in a row about Casey Anthony. (Somehow makes your "SPESHAL KOMENT" not so special, huh Keith?)

If I was getting paid all that money and not even in number TWO's rear view mirror. I'd be desperate too.

I sent this email out from me, to family and friends:

I came across this while looking through news stories. It was so repugnant to me that a so called “celebrity” could say such vile things about a young girl.... The thing is, our media is so biased, and that’s why we have most of our elected officials, including Obama.

That said.......Letterman, who I quit watching some time ago when his Liberal bias became so apparent, crossed the line.

During the entire Clinton presidency, Chelsea was off limits to the entire mainstream meadia. Obviously, Obama’s daughters are as well. That’s how it should be.

HOWEVER, not so the case with the Bush twins. Every indiscretion was reported. And why? Perhaps, our Liberal media had a double standard when it comes to children of politicians?

So, I am enclosing a couple links, one is just a snipet of Letterman’s comments, couldn’t find the entire disgusting diatribe on youtube. The other is an article about the incident.

Lastly, the sponsors (meaning: a person who vouches or is responsible for a person or thing.), and the “powers that be” at CBS, need US to voice our opinions, regarding Letterman. His thoughts (or so called jokes), are at the expense of the children of an elected official, who he seems to have a vendetta against.

This is not the first time he has attacked Sarah Palin, but this one hit below the belt....her children.
